Jlajdjskscn adding on to this bc I feel I didn't explain my position clearly and I don't want people to assume things: I feel that gun control and reform is incredibly necessary, at least where I live in the U.S. We have a mass shooting a day almost, and more school shootings than should ever be tolerated. Most students(myself included) go through lockdown drills and get training on what to do in case of a school shooter, and are afraid that they may be the victims one day. This said, I also hunt and bench shoot for fun, and my dad taught me how to use both a rifle(to hunt/bench shoot) and a handgun in case I ever need to defend myself. We definitely need frequent mental health and gun safety knowledge checks, as well as a gun safe requirement. However, eliminating all guns is not the solution as people use them for many things other than murder. And sure, in a utopian world we wouldn't need guns for war or self defense, but that's the world we live in. Also yikes sorry for gettin all political on ya I just have very strong feelings on this issue

My bad bro, guess I've just seen too many posts where the blame is put on the average, individual person rather than mega corporations and the incredibly wealthy. It really should be obvious, but unfortunately, too many people spread stuff that insinuates this is the fault of the lower classes, and you as an individual should have been able to stop it :/ (your original post is very accurate tho, sorry if my reply came off as harsh or attacking your post, definitely didn't mean it that way)

This life is a monotonous cycle of suffering. I arise each morning exhausted to spend the day with unpleasant company doing unpleasant work. I return home only to suffer through more numbing work, and it matters not whether I have the time to enjoy myself, for I am too tired to do much more. It repeats day after day, week after week, with only a small pause, a brief reprieve, to give me a taste of what I cannot have. A taunting, teasing, reprieve. Not long enough to offer me the salvation I long for, only just enough to keep me going. Keeping me trapped in the cycle, keeping me conscious through the punishment.
