putting this in a separate post + even more silly battinson/corensupes stuff based off this post (and op’s tags)
you havent truly experienced roleplay until youve had knuckles and metal sonic fighting midair, falling down a deep chasm, while “It’s Raining Men” plays FULL BLAST out of metal’s speakers
thinking of when I had a dream I was an aging white father of 3 kids and my weeping wife was begging me to not leave (I don’t know why I was leaving her) and as I walked out the front door of our suburban home I turned around in my khakis and said “I’m sorry, but I have to go now and….I’m never coming back. I love you” and then woke up like
i feel so bad for nikola tesla like imagine spending years beefing with a guy who has conned the public into believing he's some sort of supergenius when in reality it's his overworked employees developing all of his world-changing inventions and you end up dying broke and starving and alone and then 100 years later another guy cons the public into believing he's some sort of supergenius when in reality it's his overworked employees developing all of his world-changing inventions and he's doing it all IN YOUR NAME. he must be rolling in his grave like a fucking rotisserie chicken
Puki will you leave tumblr because everyone’s acting like it’s dead now :(

pro-AI in the sense of "they taught a bread scanning computer to recognize cancer cells" etc etc
against AI in the sense of "we stole artwork from hundreds to thousands of artists, didn't credit them and didn't financially compensate them"
I am writing a short story that has to have 6 characters or less and I can't tell if this counts as a character
Context, the labyrinth in question in question is sentient in the sense that it can make decisions and simulations based on memories of the main character. Which it uses to make the main character briefly think that he escaped, thus causing the main conflict of the story
But it unable to have personal opinions and hold conversation outside of "I was made to keep you here, you must never leave" which is basically a prerecorded message.
While it does understand what that phrase means as in that it is the mission of the labyrinth, it is unable to ultimately understand the phrase as anything other than an objective. (like it sees it the same way a social media filter looks for a face, not how a human sees a face, does that make sense)
Though it might be important to note that the main character doesn't particularly think of the labyrinth as character or a setting and more a problem/conflict. But they only recently figured out that it has at least a basic form of sentience.
