This was a joke image I commissioned “Art with Koda” on instagram to make. It’s tied to a hypothetical alternate Timeline I’m making (that doesn’t contradict the main show) for Steven Universe where Gero is a recurring antagonist.

For those who don’t know, Dr. Gero is a canon character we never get to see besides his name in the background of the hospital episode.

I've currently made an outline on what I think would happen if Gero, (The character mentioned in the hospital episode.) was a major antagonist on the show. I've got his motives, personality, and teammates all down. I think l'm cooking.

SU Gero timeline (What is it about?)

I have had a growing idea for a Steven Universe alternate timeline that involves a character who was name-dropped in the episode "Nightmare Hospital".

The character is named Dr. Gero, and he was named after a villain in the Dragon Ball franchise best known for creating the characters Cell and Android 16, kidnapping the Earthlings "Lapis & Lazuli" and turning them into cyborgs named "Android 17 & 18."

The AU will contain my idea of what it could be like if Dr. Gero was an antagonist in Steven Universe separate from his Dragon Ball counterpart. My goal is to make him his own character that could realistically work without breaking copyright law and the preestablished lore of Steven Universe. I will take other characters on as inspiration for Gero's character to not limit myself too much.

I will release a character bio soon with his motives being in another post soon after.
