Some Thoughts About Noriaki Kakyoin

Imagine if Kakyoin had survived the trip to Egypt. If he ever got married, I’d bet his kids would be really shy, have curly red hair, purple eyes, and would probably get along really well with Jolyne. Kakyoin himself probably would’ve joined Jotaro in Morioh and gotten along really well with Josuke because they both like video games, and they were both kinda lonely as kids.

I honestly hate the fact that he died, and it breaks my heart to think about his parents. I mean, he went to school and never came back. If anyone remembers, Jotaro took him to his house and he spent the night there recovering. So his parents probably didn’t know where he was and probably thought he ran away or something.

Yugi Mutou x Disney Descendants!Reader - Card Queen

For Yugi, life was getting boring. He had recently earned himself the title of King of Games thanks to his spirit friend Yami, and his friend, Joey, was finally going to be able to pay for his sister's eye surgery. However, everyday just seemed to be the same. Wake up, go to school, see his friends, be challenged to a duel, go home, help Grandpa with the game shop, go to sleep, and repeat. There was nothing new or really fun anymore, even with the spirit around.

For (Y/n), life was getting boring. Her friends had left to go to some goody two-shoes school in another country, her mother wanted her to get a boyfriend, and no one shared or peaked her interest. She was a master of card games but no one would play with her. There was nothing to do anymore other than mess with any random chump who decided to get in her way. (Y/n) was the daughter of the Queen of Hearts and the Headless Horseman so what did that mean other than that no one would really approach her.

For both of them, there needed to be a change of pace.

-(Yugi's POV)-

"Hey Yuug! Did ya hear there's gonna be a new student coming to the school?" I looked up from my dazed state and looked at Joey in confusion. "Really?" Tristan smiled and nodded excitedly, "Yup! Apparently she's really good at card games!" I nodded, looking back down at my desk. Looks like it'll be the same old thing again.

"Alright everyone," called the teacher as he entered into the classroom, "As you all might've heard we have a new student. Please treat her nicely. Come on in and introduce yourself." I looked up in time to see a beautiful girl with (H/C) hair walk in. "Heyo everyone! The name's (Y/n) Heartman. I enjoy card games so if any of you want to play a game, I'll gladly play. Hope we can get along."

I could hardly keep my eyes off of her. She was gorgeous. "Alright, (Y/n) go take a seat in the back next to Joey. Joey raise your hand." I felt something in me tighten. My heart. Why did Joey of all people get to sit next to her? As she walked passed my desk, I was shocked when she looked at me in the eye, and winked. I could feel my face heat up and Tristan smirked at me, giving a look that could only mean one thing: "You lucked out, man."

- Time Skip -

As the bell rang, signaling the end of class, Joey started talking to (Y/n). It actually sounded like he was challenging her to a duel. "You said you'd gladly play so how about you duel my pal Yugi over there? He's the King of Games!" She seemed confused. "Who's Yugi?" I turned away quickly in my seat as Joey point me out.

The sound of a chair moving away from it's matching desk sounded in the classroom and I became stiff as a board when (Y/n) appeared in front of my desk. "Hey there! Do we have time for a quick game before our next class?" Joey shrugged. "Next class is free period since the teach's out sick. So.. yea I think so." The (H/C) female nodded. "Alright then, would you like to duel?"

I nodded nervously and Tea walked over, putting a hand on my shoulder. "You don't have to duel her if you don't want! Joey wasn't being considerate. "I can take over for you if you want." Came the voice of my spirit friend, Yami. "No. It's fine."

"I.. I kinda want to duel her on my own."

With that, she whipped out a duel monster deck and shuffled them. I did the same and simultaneously, we set up the game. Tea looked behind me and smiled, walking over beside Joey. "He's got a good starting hand. He might be able to win this quickly." I frowned, was she trying to be quiet? It wasn't working. "You never know. We've never faced her before so we don't know what her deck's like." Replied Joey and Tea rolled her eyes. "It cant be that powerful. I mean, she looks and acts like a big shot beginner."

"It's rude to talk about someone like that, especially when you know they can hear you." Came the cool voice of (Y/n) as she placed two cards face down. Tea rolled her eyes again and the game continued. "Alright, I'll place two cards face down and summon Celtic Guardian in defense mode! Your turn!"

(Y/n) drew a card and smiled. "Alright then, I'll play Full On Assault to switch your Celtic Guardian into Attack mode then summon my Queen's Knight in Attack mode. I'll attack your monster for 100 life points off of your own! Your turn."

Yugi: 1900 (Y/n): 2000

I was surprised, as were we all. Queen's Knight wasn't a very common card so the fact that she got it out and was attacking it was quite shocking. "Oh well, try this on for size! Next I'll play my Curse of Dragon to attack your Queen's Knight!"

I shouldn't have done that.

"You just activated my Trap Card!" (Y/n) flipped over one of her face down cards and smiled. "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow! Your attack is negated and I'm able to set this card face down again! I draw, and summon King's Knight. Thanks to the special ability of the King and Queen's Knights, I can also summon the Jack's Knight. Now I sacrifice all of them to summon my favorite card! I summon the Card Deck Dragon!"

"The Card Deck Dragon?!" That card was in the rarity levels alongside the Blue Eyes White Dragon and the Red Eyes Black Dragon! (Y/n) smiled. "Yup! This is my baby! Since you have more monsters in your graveyard, my monster gets its defense points raised by 500! Also, I'll attack your monster to lower your life points again, but this time by 500! And for good measure I'll play Cemetery Bomb for an additional 200 damage.

Yugi: 1200 (Y/n): 2000

"Okay.. I'll draw and summon Gaia the Fierce Knight in attack mode. Next I'll put a card face down and play the spell card Swords of Revealing Light!" Her eyes widened and she frowned. "Should've seen that coming. That was a good play, Yugi!" I blushed and hid my face behind my cards. "Th-thanks.." Why was I being so bashful? This was strange. I mean, I was sometimes like this around girls, but this was to a whole new level. "I'll end my turn there."

(Y/n) nodded and drew a card. She seemed to be planning something but couldn't put it in play because she couldn't attack. Finally, she placed a card down. "I'll play Lord of Dragons in Attack mode and end my turn." That was confusing. Why would she leave a card like that out in the open. I fortunately had a trap card that could negate her face down card, but did I really want to risk it? Sure why not?

"I'll draw and attack your Lord of Dragons with my Fierce Knight."

Yugi: 1200 (Y/n): 900

(Y/n) began to smile. "Alright then. Remind me how many turns I have left before I can attack?" I tilted my head in confusion. "Two. Why?" She smirked and drew a card, placing it into her hand and revealing a Spell card. "I play Mystical Space Typhoon and wipe away your Swords of Revealing Light. Thanks to this, I can attack your Knight with my Dragon. For a grand total of 500 life points."

Yugi: 700 (Y/n): 900

"EH? What're you tryna pull? It's only 200 life points!" Said Joey about to get in (Y/n)'s face but I stopped him. "No, Joey. She's right. I just realized it too. One of the special abilities of the Card Deck Dragon gives it a boost in power in a certain circumstance. It's what makes it so powerful"

(Y/n) nodded. "Yup! The ability is called Dealer's Advantage. If the user has more monsters in their graveyard than their opponent, then CDD gets an Attack boost of 500! If the opponent has more monsters in their graveyard, then CDD gets a Defense boost of 500. Those stats add and subtract based on how the game changes."

"No way! That's crazy!" Said Tea. "Where did you get such a powerful card from?" (Y/n) shrugged. "It was a present from my dad. I'm known as the Queen of Cards back home so when I was first getting into the game, my dad found good cards so I could build my deck. Anyway, it's your turn, Yugi."

"R-right." I drew a card and frowned. At the moment, I couldn't take down her dragon, not only that, but her face down card was the biggest problem. I would need to sacrifice my face down card to get this right. "I play Heavy Storm and take away all trap and spell cards in play." (Y/n) smiled. "Nice!" She put the card in her graveyard and looked at me expectantly. "Alright then, I'll place one card face down and summon my Dark Magician in Attack Mode!"

(Y/n)'s eyes widened. "A Dark Magician?! No way! Those cards are wicked awesome!" I blushed hard, hiding once again behind my cards. "I-it's my favorite card." She smiled kindly. "I can see why! Not only is it rare, but it's incredibly powerful! Especially when combined with the Dark Magician Girl!" I nodded excitedly. I wasn't used to people being THIS into the game like I was.

"Alright, I draw, lay down one card face down and end my turn." I blinked in surprise. I was expecting something more. "Alright. I'll draw and place down the Dark Magician Girl in Attack Mode. Finally, I play the Spell card Dark Magic Twin Burst to destroy your life points and your dragon!"

"Not so fast! I reveal my face down card! Attack and Receive! This attacks your life points directly costing you 700 Life Points!" The duel was over.

The two of us stared at each other. Technically speaking, it was a dead tie. Both attacks landed the blows to each other's life points which dropped them both down to solid zeros.

"Wait", said Joey in confusion, "Did.. did Yugi just lose?" Tea was at a loss for words. "No." was all I could say. I didn't look away from (Y/n) and I began to smile. "It was a tie. Both of us won and lost." (Y/n) looked extremely pleased and her (E/C) eyes shone brightly as she blushed happily. Just then, the tense air was broken by the school bell. During the duel, an entire free period had gone by.

Tea sighed. "We'd better get to our next classes." Joey nodded and the two of them left the classroom. As I was about to leave, after cleaning up my cards, a hand stopped me. "Yugi, I want you to have this." (Y/n) stood behind me, holding out a card.

"This card, if you chose to use it, can help you get out your magician faster." I looked at the card and then at (Y/n). "I'm honored that you would give this to me, but why are you doing it?" The girl smiled. "You deserve it. Not only that, but thanks to you, I've finally met my match! You don't realize how happy that makes me. I've never tied with or lost to anyone before."

I was shocked. "R-really?" She nodded. "Yeah. I'm glad to know that I can finally have a good match. Let's duel again sometime!" I nodded happily. "Yes! That would be awesome!" (Y/n) smiled again and began to leave the classroom but I called after her. "By the way, since neither of us lost the duel, but both of us lost, I guess you're the Queen of Games now." She looked at me an then laughed. "Maybe not of all Games. I'm happy with being the Card Queen for now. See ya around Yugi!"

With that, she was gone.

I smiled happily, clutching the card she had given me. Life had just gotten a lot more interesting.

Yancy x reader - Behind the Pen

(Y/n) had come to expect letters arriving in her cell every other day. It was a constant thing now. Her family wrote to her occasionally, but the majority of notes she received were from someone she didn't recognize.

And how could she recognize a letter from someone who never signed it?

As cliche as it sounded, her apparent admirer was constantly complimenting her through his penmanship. The only reason she knew he was a male was because he had said before in a past letter, "A man like me doesn't deserve an angel like you."

That comment had made her blush so much that the other female prisoners worried she was running a fever.

(Y/n) held a new note in her hand, admiring just how simple it was. A small piece of paper with the front held together by a red heart sticker, like you would find on a first grader's valentine. Inside was some messy yet intelligible handwriting that looked like an attempt at fancy calligraphy.

"(Y/n),

A dove like you should be away and free from us ravens and crows. But of course, this jailbird fell in love with you and can only dream of making you his own. After what I've done with my life, how could I deserve to even be close to you, much less your lover? Nevertheless, like Romeo, I will continue to love you, my Juliet, even if it kills me."

(Y/n) blushed and walked out of her cell and made it to the yard where a majority of people were gathered. Like usual, they were either playing basketball, lifting weights, or taking a small nap in the sunlight. It was a gorgeous day outside and sleep sounded very appealing, but (Y/n) had something to do first.

"Hey guys!" She greeted her fellow female prisoners, the letter clutched in her hand. Tiny, one of the tougher girls, smiled at her mischievously. "Ohhh~ you got another letter? What does it say this time?"

Some of the other girls crowded around her to hear the reply as it was read out. They were all romantics in some kind of way and a secret admirer story unfolding right in front of them was certainly exciting.

"Well, he told me that I didn't belong in a place like this, and he even called me his Juliet." Some of the ladies let out an "awww" and Tiny wrapped her arm around (Y/n)'s shoulders. "Man, he really seems to have a thing for you, huh? Who do you think it is?"

"I don't know. I keep hoping I can pick up signs or some kind of hint when I interact with the boys, but I'm not picking up on anything. I guess I'm just really boggled that I even have a.."

She trailed off as she looked toward a group of 8 boys playing basketball over in the prison court. There, being patted on the back after an amazing 2-point shot, was Yancy. (Y/n) blushed, seeing how his slightly damp shirt clung to his toned body, his skin slightly shining from sweat as he panted and smiled at his teammates.

Time just seemed to move in slow motion when she looked at him. He was beyond attractive. He was so handsome, he could kill ladies with just a look. Heh, maybe that's another reason why he was in prison.

"(Y/nnn)? Hello?" Tiny waved a hand in front of her face, seeing that her friend had zoned out. "Huh? Oh sorry. Were you asking me something?" Some of the other girls gave each other knowing looks and (Y/n) looked at them in confusion. "Am I missing something?"

"You have it rough for him, huh?" Asked Tiny and (Y/n)'s face erupted into a bright red blush. "Huh? Why would you say that? He's my friend, granted that he's a very attractive friend, but still!"

"Girl, admit it. You have a big ol' crush on Yancy." (Y/n) knew she was caught and she looked down in embarrassment. "I.. gosh I know I do but I feel kinda bad about it because I have no idea who's writing me these notes. I kinda hope it's him, but if it's not I'm gonna feel terrible if I don't like this guy back and reject him."

"Reject who?"

(Y/n) stiffened, recognizing the voice that came up behind her. "Oh, hey Yancy," said Tiny with a smirk, "we were just talking about (Y/n)'s secret admirer." (Y/n) turned around to see the scruffy faced man she had grown to love. He smiled while his tattooed hand rubbed the back of his neck.

"A secret admirer eh? You don't usually see dat in prison. Yous gots any idea who it could be?" (Y/n) shook her head. "I don't recognize the handwriting and I haven't really got any other clues, so no not really. Do you know anything?"

Yancy shrugged. "We males don't really talk about all dat romance and lovey dovey stuff, but I'll keep an eye out for ya."

"T-thanks." Was all (Y/n) could say while shyly looking up at his grinning face. He really was so kind. A criminal with a heart of gold. Yancy nodded at the girls behind (Y/n) and turned to leave, joining the other boys back on the court.

Turning back, (Y/n) saw the girls smirking and looking at her expectantly. “What? Is there something on my face?” Tiny shook her head and laughed softly. “No, it’s just that some of us already know who your admirer is.” (Y/n) was shocked. “What?? Who is it?? Tell me!” Giggling, the girls began to move away, shaking their heads. “Sorry, we can’t say anything. Good luck figuring it out though.”

“Tiny! Guys! Come on, I thought we were friends!” Laughed the (h/c) female as she chased after them.

From across the yard, Yancy watched their interaction and he bit his lip nervously. He knew that Tiny and the other girls wouldn’t tell (Y/n) about his secret crush on her, but still, he swore that they loved to tease him with their knowing looks. “Oi, Yancy pay attention!” Said Sparkles McGee, tossing him the basketball. “Sorry. Was just thinking ‘bout stuff, y’know.”

Bam Bam smirked at him. “Oh, thinking about (Y/n) again are we?” Yancy looked over at him quickly, “What? No! ‘Course not. What makes youse say dat? I think of other things.”

“Riiiiight, because staring at her and losing touch with reality means you’re thinking about other things.” Laughed McGee and Yancy pouted a little. “Shut up, it isn’t like dat.”

“We all know about those love notes you’ve been sending her. I’m surprised she doesn’t know it’s you sending them yet.”

“Well, she doesn’t need t’know either.” Snapped the handsome prisoner, glaring at his friends and tossing the basketball to the net only to miss. “I doubt she feels the same anyway.”

“Are you kidding?” said Bam Bam, looking at Yancy with evident shock and confusion. “Have you seen the way she looks at you? I swear you’re just as oblivious as she is!” This was news to the man in question and he looked over to where his crush sat with her friends. She relaxed under a tree, her (h/c) hair slightly messy from the light breeze that flowed through the yard. She laughed, her melodious voice sounding like a symphony to Yancy.

(Y/n) suddenly looked over at him when Tiny pointed him out. She smiled at him, waving, and as he blushed, he waved back. His heart beat so fast and he resisted the urge to run away to his cell. He had a reputation to uphold as the Prison Tough Guy. Turning away, he saw the guys smirking at him and he shook his head, the basketball being passed to him again. “Shut up youse guys.”

-time skip-

As (Y/n) sat in her cell a few nights later, unable to sleep. She was thinking about her admirer. Who could it possibly be? Gosh, she hoped it was Yancy. No, she shouldn’t get her hopes up. Any girl would die to have him as their lover, even if he was a murderer, but Yancy sees all the prisoners as family, so he probably only sees her as a sisterly figure. Her secret admirer was probably someone else.

That same night, Yancy slaved over pieces of paper in his cell. He struggled to come up with the right words to write down, having to start over every time he made a mistake. “You’re my own personal angel.. Ugh no. ‘ve used somethin’ like dat already. Uhh.. You’re so beautiful… naw. Gosh I’ve used up everythin’.” His eyelids were drooping, exhaustion washing over his body. Yancy wanted to give (Y/n) another letter, but he was too tired to write. “Oh well. Maybe I’ll finish it tomorrow..” He thought as he drifted off to sleep surrounded by his crumpled papers.

-timeskip-

“Have you guys seen Yancy?” Asked (Y/n) the next morning. He hadn’t shown up for breakfast which was very unlike him. Both girls and boys alike shook their heads, but then one voice piped up. “I passed by his cell on the way to breakfast,” said Sparkles McGee, “He was fast asleep. I think he was writing a new song or something last night and zonked out in the middle of it.”

“Why don’t you go wake him up, (Y/n).” Suggested Tiny and (Y/n) nodded. “Sure. I’ll be back.” She stood up and made her way down the hall to Yancy’s cell. Sure enough, when she entered, the soft sound of Yancy’s light snoring.

(Y/n)’s heart melted at the adorable sight before her. Yancy was curled up in his bed, cuddling both his pillow and his prison bed blanket. Around him were a bunch of crumpled up pieces of paper. (Y/n) frowned, wondering what exactly he had been writing so late at night. Sure she could just assume that they were just tossed lyrics to a new song, like McGee said, but curiosity was a powerful force and she couldn’t help but look.

She opened the nearest piece of wrinkled paper and her eyes widened. It was a note for her, but most of the writing was scribbled out. (Y/n) could only make out a few words and sentences here and there as she continued looking through the discarded notes. Lots of the phrases were familiar. The handwriting was sloppy but legible, writing out similar sentences to previous letters she had received. (Y/n) could barely contain her tears of joy as she looked at the sleeping man before her.

Yancy was her secret admirer all along.

Placing the gathered papers to the side, (Y/n) crept over to his side and she smiled, reaching over and gently caressing the right side of his face. Yancy leaned into her touch in his sleep, letting out a small purr of pleasure. The poor man was touch starved after all his years in prison and now he finally had the chance to receive the comfort and love that he was craving.

Slowly, Yancy’s eyes began to open and he looked up into (Y/n)’s shining eyes. “(Y-Y/n)? What’re you…” his voice trailed off as her hand trailed up his chiseled jaw into his black hair. He began to fully wake up and he realized what was happening as well as the state of his cell, or more accurately the state which his cell was supposed to be in.

He sat bolt upright, accidentally hitting his head on the top bunk and almost squashing (Y/n)’s hand, and looked around to find that all the papers that were previously strewn around on the floor were nowhere to be found. “Looking for these?” Came (Y/n)’s teasing voice as she held up a stack of small wrinkled papers.

Yancy paled noticeably and his hands began to shake. “(Y-Y/n), p-please, I can explain!” He stood up from his bed, fear written all over his face. “Yancy-”

“No, please listen. I know I’ve been lyin’ to ya about not knowing who was writin’ youse those letters, but I was afraid that youse wouldn’t like me back ‘n I just wanted youse to kinda fall in love with me indirectly before I asked youse to be mine, y’know?”

“Yancy, I-”

“I understand if youse don’t like me back, but-”

“YANCY!!!” He stopped speaking and looked at (Y/n) as she looked at him with an amused smile. “You don’t need to explain yourself. Heck, you had me mostly convinced it was someone else writing these letters.”

“I.. I did?”

“Yes!” Laughed (Y/n), “You did! Honestly, I would’ve felt awful if I had to reject my admirer because they weren’t the person I fell in love with. The letters were flattering, but it would’ve been so much easier just to tell me that you liked me after spending time getting to know me.” Yancy blushed and looked away before she used her hand to gently bring his gaze back to her.

“And I like you too, Yancy, in a romantic way. I have for a really long time.”

Yancy blushed so hard and he rubbed his neck shyly. She smiled, taking his free hand and squeezing it. “Alright, well let’s go to breakfast. The others are going to get suspicious if I never come back after going to get you.”

“Heh, I guess so, since they already knew about my little crush on youse.”

Even though they both knew they should leave, neither of them really wanted to. It was a nice change of pace to just have time for the two of them. (Y/n) looked up at Yancy and leaned up, kissing him gently.

The kiss only lasted a second, but it brought one of the best feelings either of them had ever felt. “I… you..” stumbled Yancy, struggling to say coherent words as he touched his lips in awe. He looked back at (Y/n) with a hopeful expression.

“C-could we do that again?”

(Y/n) laughed and nodded, “Of course.” This time, Yancy was the one to take the lead, leaning down and gently holding the sides of her face in his large hands. His lips met hers in a passionate hunger which took (Y/n) off guard. It was a sloppy kiss, clearly inexperienced but euphoric to experience for the both of them.

“Y-Yancy, we’re gonna get caught. I was sent to find you and bring you to breakfast. Everyone’s gonna get suspicious if I never come back.” Yancy kissed (Y/n) again with a small possessive growl. “I don’t care if we get caught. I gotta start showin’ the others around here dat your mine, sweetheart. You’re so dang beautiful. Wouldn't be surprised if one of them started a fight with me over youse.”

Something about him calling her ‘sweetheart’ and getting really protective really got her knees weak and face red. “E-even so. What would the warden say?” That last part is what finally got Yancy to stop. “Fine, I’ll stop..” His arms wrapped around (Y/n)’s frame in a warm hug which was happily reciprocated.

“I love youse, (Y/n).”

“I love you too, Yancy.”

Back in the cafeteria, some of the others were starting to wonder when (Y/n) was going to come back, hopefully with their leader in tow. “Do you think something happened?” Asked Hank, looking over at McGee who was smirking. “Something romantic, maybe.”

Tiny groaned and shook her head in amusement. “I swear the two of them are so dang oblivious they better get together soon because I don’t think I can take the tension and stupidity anymore.” There was a hefty laugh that filled the room but it was soon replaced with cheers as Yancy and (Y/n) walked in from the hallway, holding hands and blushing madly.

From his office, the warden laughed softly, looking at the new couple in one of the security monitors. “It’s about dang time.” he murmured, taking a long sip of his lukewarm coffee.

Markiplier x Depressed!Daughter!Reader - Voices

Requested by: azullluna

-----------

(Y/n) felt numb as she sat beside her bed. Fat tears ran down her face without any sign of stopping, flowing over barely visible bruises that had been healing for days. She wanted to stop crying, she wanted to love herself and be brave in front of others, but she wasn’t and couldn’t.

The voices were so loud..

They tortured her, filling her mind with poison. They told her things she didn’t want to hear, but after listening to them for so long, she began to believe them. And the voices weren’t just in her head, they were outside it too, resonating from people she saw nearly every day.

They would only laugh and work hard to make (Y/n)’s life miserable. Everyone seemed to be against her, the teachers, the principal, her classmates, everyone. Well, everyone except her father and his friends, but they didn’t know about the bullying and she didn’t dare tell any of them.

What if they agreed with it?

They will

They’ll agree

They hate you

Everyone hates you

The alarm clock beside her showed the time. “6:57? Great.. Only around 45 minutes until my regularly scheduled hell.” (Y/n) was so tired. She hardly slept, her anxiety keeping her up until the ungodly hours of the morning, not allowing for much rest. How many times had she used makeup in order to hide the dark circles under her eyes and the bruises on her face?  Too many to count. (Y/n) just didn’t want her dad to worry.

But why would he be worried?

He doesn’t care

The alarm clock rang and (Y/n) covered her ears as more tears flowed down her face.

It’s so loud..

It’s too loud..

She shut the device off and grabbed a hoodie. She couldn’t let her dad see the bruises. (Y/n) did her make up, concealer and foundation covering the imperfections of her face. Walking out of the bedroom, fully dressed for the day, she trudged down the stairs and into the kitchen. There at the stove was her father, Mark Fischbach.

Noticing her presence in the room, he turned around and smiled at her. “Hey there, princess! Good morning!” He looked so happy. (Y/n) was secretly jealous of that happiness. She wanted to be just as happy as him but she couldn’t be. It was impossible. She forced a smile and waved to him. “Morning, dad.” Chica and Henry, the family’s two dogs, ran up to her excitedly, their tails wagging behind them. (Y/n) pet them, her hands feeling heavy and the sounds around her beginning to sound too loud for her tired body to process as she tried to prevent them from licking her face and thus removing her makeup.

“I made pancakes, do you want any?” Asked her father and she shook her head. “I’m not hungry. Thanks though.” That was a lie. (Y/n) was starving and the smell of the griddle cakes certainly wasn’t helping. However, she didn’t want to eat anything.

It would be a shame if you got any bigger

Mark frowned at her refusal. Sure, he didn’t want to force food on her, but he noticed just how many times she had skipped breakfast lately. Pancakes were her favorite, and she refused them? That was odd. “Honey, are you feeling okay? You haven’t been acting like yourself recently.”

“I’m fine, dad.” The reply, to (Y/n)’s horror, sounded much more rushed than she meant it to be. Her dad was watching her, his eyes scanning her as if trying to find the answer to an unspoken question. “I.. need to go. See you later.” She said shakily, rushing away and out the door not hearing what her dad called after her.

Coward

When she arrived at school, (Y/n) was distracted by the memory of the look her father gave her. “Does he know? He couldn’t. I’ve been so careful. Was he worried about me?”

No he wasn’t

He doesn’t care

She walked into the classroom, being the first one in per usual. (Y/n) sat down at her desk and waited for the torture to start. Just like earlier this morning, she felt numb. You’d think that because of who her dad was, she would be a popular kid at school. She was, only it wasn’t a good kind of popular. Being the daughter of Makiplier meant that any complaints of bullying she had didn’t matter, especially if those complaints were about the spoiled brats of the rich parents who helped fund the many school projects and trips. They said she was only trying to seek attention and that her supposed bullies were “golden children” who could do no wrong.

No one cares about you

Attention seeker

As students began to arrive in the classroom, (Y/n) stayed quiet. Of course, her pretending to not exist didn’t mean that people couldn’t see her. Throughout the day, the voices got louder and louder with every smirk, jeer, and hit. She was shoved into lockers, punched multiple times for no reason, tripped by people in the classrooms and cafeteria alike, threatened by a teacher for speaking up and nearly falling asleep in class, and kicked in the legs just because.

(Y/n) couldn’t stop the tears that fell as she sat in the girl’s bathroom, hiding from her classmates who were about to leave school. She didn’t know what she had done to deserve this treatment.

Cry Baby

Worthless

Drama Queen

They never stopped, no matter how much she begged or pleaded. She was alone, so very alone. Everyone knew who her dad was (most of the school watched his YouTube channel and then word moved around fast), but they used that against her.

You’re not pretty enough to be Markiplier’s daughter

Ugly

You weren’t even planned

You’re a literal accident

I bet he secretly regrets having and raising you. You’ve probably caused him so much trouble

Burden

Waste of space

Every day, every hour, every minute, the voices shouted louder and louder till she could barely hear anything else. (Y/n) had grown far too used to this treatment and her self esteem was at an all-time low. Everyone just seemed to have left her life and taken her happiness with them, leaving her behind in the dust to pick up the pieces of her broken heart and mind.

Evil thoughts of pain and death had started to flood her mind long ago, but she didn’t want to die. How would her father react? How would everyone react? Would they miss her? Would they regret the bullying?

They wouldn’t miss you

No one cares

They’d be glad you’re gone

They’d regret nothing

The voices continued to spread their poison as she finally managed to calm herself down enough to leave the bathroom and go home.

When she returned from school, (Y/n) noticed new voices in the house. Irish and English alike, there were definitely guests here. She was able to recognize them and quickly moved through the house when she thought no one was looking. Her dad had probably told her that Jack, Ethan, Bob, Wade, Ethan, and Amy were coming over, but she had forgotten.

Useless

She got scared suddenly when she noticed Jack in the hallway leading to the stairs, talking to Ethan. They suddenly noticed her and smiled. “(Y/n)! Hi! It’s been forever since I’ve seen you! How was school?” Now she was really panicking. He couldn’t know. He’d probably tell her dad.

“Uhh.. hi, Jack! School was.. Uh.. it was good I guess. School being what it is.” One after the other, Jack and Ethan opened their arms for hugs and she complied, though she hid a wince when they accidentally squeezed her fresh injuries.

When the embraces ceased, she excused herself and ran up to her room without greeting anyone else. She closed the door and walked over to the mirror, taking off her sweater to observe the damage. Looking at what happened to her arms, she frowned. It didn’t look good at all. It would definitely take some time to treat these. “Better now than later.” She thought as she walked over to her desk, taking out a first aid kit. She turned on some music and got to work.

-downstairs-

Mark looked at the clock on his phone and frowned. “(Y/n) should’ve been home by now.” He checked his texts and email, but there was nothing from her school so that ruled detention out. “What’s wrong?” Asked Wade as he watched his friend in concern. “I expected (Y/n) to already have been home, but I don’t know where she is.”

“Oh, (Y/n)? Don’t worry, she’s already here, we saw her. She should be up in her room.” Said Jack who walked in alongside Ethan. “Seriously? Dang, I didn’t hear her come in.” Said Mark in surprise but then he noticed Ethan frowning. “Is something wrong?”

“I’m worried about her. (Y/n) I mean. She seemed kinda off when she came home. I don’t know if there was a test today or..?” Mark shook his head sadly. “I noticed her acting odd this morning. I’ll go talk to her. You guys discuss pizza toppings and movie options, I’ll go check on my daughter.”

As he walked up the stairs, Mark ran through possibilities in his head. “Maybe she didn’t eat this morning because she was too nervous about something? Tests sometimes do that to a person, especially if they forgot to study. Maybe that’s it? Or, maybe she just wasn’t hungry? Maybe I’m overthinking this?”

He arrived at the door to (Y/n)’s bedroom and knocked. “Hey, sweetie, it’s me. Can I come in?” There was no reply. He tried again. “Are you okay in there?” Nothing. Now he was worried.

“(Y/n)? I’m coming in.”

Mark opened the door and was horrified by what he saw. There sat his daughter on her bed, without a hoodie on, and with large, dark bruises littering her arms which were on full display. (Y/n)’s eyes widened as she noticed him looking at her. She had earbuds in so she hadn’t heard him knock and she was treating her bruises before he had entered. Mark closed the door behind him and approached her.

“What happened?”

He was so nervous and he noticed that she was shaking more and more with every step he took. Her breathing was becoming faster and faster and tears began to flow from her eyes, wiping away makeup which he hadn’t noticed was applied. When had she suddenly gotten such dark circles under her eyes, and was that a bruise? “I’m sorry.. I’m sorry..” (Y/n) was whimpering and she began to hug herself, as if afraid I was going to hurt her. “Hey, hey it’s okay. You can tell me what’s going on. What happened? Who did this?”

(Y/n) wasn’t speaking and instead began to cry even harder. Mark’s heart nearly stopped. He prayed that she wasn’t doing any of this to herself. He had lost people this way before and he didn’t know what he would do if his own daughter was the next victim. He began questioning everything. “How long has this been going on? How did I never notice it? Is it because of me? Am I not good enough? Did I do something wrong?”

All his questions quickly melted away as he heard the choked sobs of his daughter. “Too much.. Everyone.. They won’t stop.. They hurt me and then no one.. believes me when I complain. They think.. I’m just looking for attention. And the voices.. They’re so loud.” Mark managed to put the pieces together in his mind and his eyes widened.

“Are you being bullied?”

(Y/n) nodded and Mark held his daughter gently as she cried into his shoulder. He didn’t understand why she was being picked on. Why hadn’t he been told yet? Why was he only finding out now, when the damage was so heavy? He’d certainly be having a word with the principal about this. “Why didn’t you tell me? I could’ve helped you.”

“I’m sorry.. I’m sorry..” She started apologizing and he was quick to shush her. “You have nothing to be sorry for. Why didn’t you tell me this was going on? Do the teachers know?” She managed to choke out an “I didn’t want to be a burden, and they don’t care. They only care about their rich “Golden Children”.” Mark shook his head sadly. “You aren’t a burden. I don’t know who’s been telling you that, but it isn’t true. I care about you so much and you are such an amazing person, (Y/n).”

He’s lying

“No.. you’re wrong. I’m fat, and stupid, and ugly, and just a burden to eveyone I’m around. I don’t deserve to be your daughter. You deserve someone better. You can stop pretending to care. I already know you don’t. You’re probably so disappointed in me.”

Mark was enraged at what he was hearing but kept his voice calm. “No, you’re wrong. If you’re thinking all that stuff then you don’t know anything. I love you so much. You are beautiful, and smart, and you make me so incredibly happy. No matter what anyone else, or those voices say, you can’t ever make me not love you. No matter what you do, I will always love you.”

“But-”

“No no no. Listen to my voice. Focus on me, not on those demons. You are important. You are loved. You have a purpose. What other people think, it doesn’t matter because you have worth. They don’t know what they’re talking about. Love you for you because that’s what really matters. You are one of the most important people in my life and if I could get you to understand just how much you mean to me, I’d do everything in my power to prove it. I love you.”

“Dad..” (Y/n)’s voice trailed off as she rested in his arms, emotionally worn out. Mark rocked her side to side in a warm embrace, whispering soft nothing in her ear. When he pulled away, he noticed that she was beginning to smile. Mark could tell, it was real this time. It would take time for her to heal and recover, but it would be okay. He would be there for her every step of the way.

Just then, her stomach let out a loud rumble. He smirked as (Y/n) blushed in embarrassment. “You hungry? We’re thinking of ordering pizza.” She smiled and nodded, the sound of food making her empty stomach rumble again. “Yeah, that sounds good.” Mark gave her one last hug before helping her treat her bruises. (Y/n) pulled on a fresh hoodie and followed him downstairs.

At the sight of her, Jack and Ethan smiled and waved, which surprised the young Fischbach. Everyone there was so happy and excited to see her and slowly but surely the voices began to get quieter and quieter until all that remained was the laughter and comfort that came from her father and their friends.

The movie night was fun. You and Jack argued together against the others about accepting pineapple as a pizza topping. Bob and Wade recalled stories about their college days and stupid stuff that happened recently, which made everyone laugh. They all had a pillow fight while waiting for the pizza to arrive, Mark and Ethan started a mini food fight with popcorn, much to Chica and Henry’s delight, and the pizza was eaten while everyone watched an older movie called “Return to Me”.

(Y/n) felt sleepy as she stared at the tv. She sat next to her dad who had his arm around his girlfriend, Amy. The voices, telling her she didn’t belong there returned, but this time, she rejected them. She knew the truth, and the negative words spewed nothing but lies. She knew that they would never completely go away, and the actions of those that hurt her could never be taken back, but she felt content knowing that even if people disliked or hated her, her father at least would be there to help her drown out her demons.

As the movie neared its end, Mark felt a small pressure on his arm. Looking over, he smiled when he found his daughter fast asleep and resting against him. “Good night, (Y/n).. I love you so much.” He whispered, kissing her forehead gently and he could’ve sworn he saw a smile creep onto her face. Yeah.. everything would turn out alright.

It Took Me About 3 Hours To Make This. This Is What Quarantine Does To Someone Who Has Nothing To Do,

It took me about 3 hours to make this. This is what quarantine does to someone who has nothing to do, no friends they can see, is homeschooled, and has a bed time curfew of 9:00 PM.

(Btw, the girl in the middle is me)
