okokok- this is so very specific but these past months I've come across a few separate comments about how darkwing fans would/are enjoying getting into dogman and i kinda love that

“Your hands are so big…” The commander softly mutters, able to rest his entire head into it, softly nuzzling into Awesome’s palm.

A comment or two could be made in response to that. About how the size of his hands are an indication of the length of other such appendages, or Awesome could easily use it as an excuse to mock the shorter man’s size. Awesome knows that’s a sore spot.

But, the look that he’s being given… that rare, relaxed and serene gaze in the large eye is enough for the emperor to think twice about saying something and wrecking the moment, so he instead softly strokes his thumb against the top of the Peepers head, smiling back.

And Peepers appreciates that.
