my final piece for @turnabout-cinema! had an absolute blast working on this one :]

and what if i rewrite blue lock with kira as a protag just because i like him and i miss him . what happens then? what if he gets to be a lovely protagonist of his story solely because i think he is neat??? he and isagi get a sort of rival best friends relationship throughout first selection, second selection gives him the reo team-up for a moment, exploring how he feels about abandoning the high school team we've seen him care so deeply for to play in the u-20 match. to win over the u-20 team. to already have a big fanbase going into the nel??? im undecided on exactly which team he'd play for but i saw really pretty ubers kira art a little bit ago.

OKAY TIME FOR MY BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

so yknow that dentist radio edit ive mentioned? well, ive only found 3 digital recordings of it. one of them is crunchy, one isnt pitched correctly, and one is only the instrumental. for some odd reason, no one has made a clear digital recording of the actual song. and, well, i own 3 different record copies of this version...

BEHOLD!!!!!! a direct digital recording of the dentist radio edit, using my new fancy turntable and audacity!!! it still has some record crackling, but this is miles clearer than anything ive been able to find online!! and its in stereo, so theres some fun speaker-to-speaker action as well, which i didnt even know this version had!!!!! so cool!!!

this version of the song incredibly interesting, they added a lot of stuff to it. the song opens with thr sound of orin's motorcycle, theres a more prominent bassline (which i think sounds better), theres a whole new lyric that's unique to this version only, and the biggest change is the audio from the arthur denton scene interrupting the song, and then merging with it. bill murray is moaning throughout the last chorus and its great. im fairly confident that this version was for radio promotion, especially with the inclusion of the bill murray stuff. but i cant really find like, any info on it or its multiple record copies. man!

anyway. i hope this recording helps get people interested in this version of the song! i will work on getting a program to help clean up the record crackling, but thats for another day. please check it out, and thank you for reading!!!

No because this is so Enrida. It is so Matt coded. Gasp of breath on your deathbed ???? So on the nose here but like Yeah It's Suffocation. But you're still dying for me ???? And the use of 'for' as a preposition is so interesting because you can take it in the way of "you're dying because of me" but also "you are dying and you're doing it for me. a last act of devotion, even though I don't fucking deserve it." and I think that is so cool.

Things in my head that I miss about you. Present tense. He misses Juan in the here and now. He knows he fucked up. He made the worst mistake of his life and Juan is dead and he can't change that, he can only continue missing him. But keeping it all inside his head is all he's allowed to do. Because he's got an image. He's got their carefully curated rivalry to uphold. He can't reveal it. I don't want to give myself away to you this easily.
