I think that Tails likes eating food.

He brings snacks with him when he travels.

He seems to enjoy cooking for himself. He says that he does it on more than a regular basis and has gotten good at it from practice. I’ve never met someone who enjoys cooking but doesn’t enjoy eating.

I know Sonic X isn’t canon, but I’m also reminded of this one scene where Tails tries to eat an entire pie before Amy takes it from him. I just think it’s funny.

Also, “a 2018 study found that children who grow up with food insecurity are more likely to emotionally overeat and disregard their body’s cues that they’ve eaten enough — because even when they no longer experience food scarcity, they worry they could again.” The Seattle Times. It also makes sense considering that Tails is the chubbiest member of Team Sonic.

So, that’s my headcanon.

D: I dunno if tumblr ate it or what... but I just wanted to say it made me REALLY happy and gave me a boost to power through some writing. Writing takes me an extremely long time because I have a really hard time focusing on it specifically. So I just wanted to say thanks and that I really appreciate when you say nice (or funny :D) things on my doodles. <3 It means a lot!

That’s because I deleted it. I became self-conscious because I thought that the comment was too long and would make you uncomfortable. I can’t believe it had nearly the complete opposite effect. I’ve now retyped it from memory. It makes me so happy to know that my words were able to leave such a positive impact. Thank you so much for sharing this with me.
