Since its pretty much gonna be and *is* the main thing I post about, I figured getting this out of the way is probably warranted, so without further ado...

✨️Explaining who the fuck them dogs are✨️

Ndawo is my webcomic pet project that ive been working on and conceptualizing since late 2020 (so apporaching 5 years! Yay!). The first book, Fallout of the Curtain Call, will see its premeir of the first 100 pages on Comicfury, November 13th of 2025 (and with monthly uploads of at minimum 30 pages from that point forward until the finale)

The series takes place on earth millions of years in the future, Now known as Excors, after some supernatural event sunk the world of humanity, imbewed the world with magic that turned the seas black with strange ink, and paved the way for this new age of these new Sapient and magical counterparts of dog to dog-like animals known as "Hounds".

But excors isnt the only world in this story, parallel to it exists Ndawo, a realm of magic and monsters, manifested by the soul of the planet itself.

But not all hounds are very accepting of the unknowable and strange. Especially those from beyond the archipelago, the last continent, frozen in a lifeless tundra that saw little magic, Wolves.

In the modern day, the wonders of this world have been long supressed for a century by wolven colonizers and their strange "nullifiers" that seem to destroy all thats metaphysical.

Now the eldritch is only relegated to this worlds underbelly of pirates. Which brings us to our main cast...

The story itself follows Ness (short for Nameless), a 16 year old dog raised by monsters and plagued by misfortune. after a series of unfortunate events involving being the nemesis of some wolven hero and accidentally sacrificing his parents to an ancient eldritch diety, they've found themselves past the point which felt like the end of their story, now unsure what to do with their life.

Luckily, they've been scooped up by a mediocre yet colorful pirate crew. But will they accept this new chance at an unknown future? Or resign themselves to the known past that haunts them?

Or do they even have a choice in this? as the other player in their former story refuses to let it end the way it did...

Tldr: its a magic pirate dog planet of the apes coming of age story about learning to be unapolagetically yourself even in the face of marginalization.
