Concept art for my ever-brain-comsuming pet project, Ndawo :], been writing for these two for a hot minute lately so I thought Id drop this piece and be emo about it.

Featured Characters:
Kujali (She/Her): Tall black dog reminicent of a corded poodle with a golden chest and underbelly, golden tipped locs, and golden markings on her face and neck. She wears an irridecent indigo,gold,and teal scarf, a tatterd cargo sleeve thats open at the shoulder, and an ornate collar.
Ness (Any/All): Short matted tan and brindle dog with large floppy ears and a perpetual shadow over beady pink eyes. They wear a large cloak and sneaker-like gloves with a strage paint cannister device hooked into the right. They have a large bite bark scar on their right ear and underneath their cloak is a small creature obscured in shadow as its Nautilus-like tail pokes out overtop Ness's own.
[1st Panel: Borderless, Ness paints a mural their bedroom wall as Kujali enters from behind]
Kujali: "Hiyyyeee Bestie!"
[2nd Panel: Kujali flops down on Ness's bed beside them and speaks in a condescending tone, Ness side eyes her, irritated.]
Kujali: "okaaay look at’chu bein a lil artist n’ s#!t" "Did’ja paint that all by yourself!?!" "You should totally paint me next"
[3rd Panel: Ness turns to her silently and glares, saying nothing, kujali looks down at them expectantly with her tail wagging]
Kujali: :3
[4th Panel: Ness sprays Kujali in the face with their paint, Kujali jolts back immediately]

Sometimes people will hate a parent-type character in a way that's so far from actual canon that you can tell it's not the character they really hate but Their Dad from Real Life. Which is fair but really annoying when you're trying to post about The Character
