Feel like Odo would spend his entire life telling people that he never collects keepsakes and never puts any decorations up, but one day one of the Bajoran children on DS9 would give him a slightly crumpled piece of paper with a scribbled drawing of them and Odo together. And he would act grateful but very nonchalant about it, being like “this is very nice of you, but I have no need for it”, until Kira or Quark or someone walks into his office and sees it on the corner of his desk, with a little frame around it
