HIGHLY recommend getting titer testing done if you can, especially if you don't know whether you've been vaccinated for measles or how long ago it was. It's possible your antibodies are low, as mine were. I got an MMR booster: it was easy and unremarkable.
This is not a disease to fuck around with.
P.S. more Novavax (2024 formulation) is also available at many CVS now, for biannual vax.
(You can search this blog for Novavax or Measles info.)

their beautiful horrible love...
Today's the last day of April, and to belatedly celebrate my birthday I'd like to share a comic with you: it's about getting revenge against the people who wronged you, and it's called Werewolf's Lament.
Werewolf's Lament is printed with florescent orange and mint risograph inks on light brown paper; cut and folded in the shape of a wolf. Physical copies are for sale in my online shop.
You open Dave’s message, and are flashed with a large wall of red texts, as per usual. When are you ever NOT expecting to be blinded by a red screen?
You click on the link to check what award winning piece Dave made this time, and great God you're blown away by his talent. If you could print this out and put the whole thing on the fridge, you definitely would.
You plan on replying to Dave’s shenanigans in person, just so you can discuss T Dub and that wonderful comic he made for you. But for now, it’s time to move on to the next friend’s messages, don’t you think?
Uh oh, another guest enters the dreambubbles 🫣
My fave part of this tweet is that even though a lot of people are assuming this was an AI thing or whatever
this is the actual lede of their review of the Super Mario movie

Fantasy Is A Metaphor For The Human Condition, a comic about magic, and art, and speculative fiction, and being sick, and how they all intersect. Originally laid out/pencilled November-December 2017, when I was in a very difficult place emotionally as I was relearning how to draw post-brain injury.
