“Sometimes creation is a matter of slapping things together and hoping that it works.”
how did you create a character who kidnaps a child, who is blatantly rude and callous and ambiguous and in a lot of ways untrustworthy so... likeable? I don't find RGB creepy or sleezy at all and I love him even though he's a cad and I feel like he must be a good person or at least I really want him to be one and I don't understand how? I've seen people invent characters who are cool or mysterious that just come off as 'ew' and boring...
Well, first of all thank you so much for being so kind and loving the character so much :’D but I’m really glad you feel that way, because I really wanted RGB to be a grounding character in the story. You don’t know anything about him, but there is something about him that you immediately empathize with; because he is vulnerable. As weird and enigmatic as he is, I’ve wanted from the start to portray someone who is terribly insecure, someone flawed and lost but who is trying to cover that fact up. He’s someone who can be hurt, has been hurt, and is afraid of being hurt. In a lot of ways RGB is one of the most human characters I’ve ever made.

WHY AM I ONLY SEEING THIS NOW
My half of the trade with 0chromat who is amazing and I am unworthy grovel grovel etc. (also this is not canon unless you agree with it but yeah RGB sucks at relationships go figure)
also I know all of you are going to be going WHA about some of this but you know better than to ask for an explanation from me :|b
I’M SO SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG AND IT’S SO CRAPPY COMPARED TO YOUR MASTERPIECE LIKE HOLY CRAP WHAT EVEN
I got 1 task done today. I emptied the big trash can in my bedroom. That's one less fork to deal with.
I have severe executive dysfunction. I've been dealing with it by having myself do one small task a day. So far it's helped a lot. By doing it this way my brain doesn't freak out trying to tackle everything at once.
I got my inspiration for it from this Donald Duck comic:

Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, showstopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.

Welp, I got the courage to post this here instead of just one Discord group.
A wonderful and chaotic good friend of mine, @spadoodler, has introduced to me a webcomic and it’s safe to say after 4 whole days, brain rot has set in and I had to get SOMETHING out.
That something being the best, and most stylish, telly-headed monster. That I am defiNITELY NOT INFATUATED WITH!
Medium: sidewalk chalk (and brothers’ houses’ retaining wall)
Time taken: 1.5 hours (roughly)
Character: RGB
Series: The Property of Hate
Character/series by: @modmad
Bonus: here is is from a distance! I thought it’d give a better sense of scale?
This man is one to thank if I manage to finish my album and my thesis within the same year. Or even if I don't.
Still laughing at Brian May offhandedly writing the greatest understatement in the history of academia in his astrophysics doctoral dissertation:
Ah, yes - “various pressures.” Like being one of the greatest guitarists ever and playing/writing/singing for the most legendary rock band of all time.
Those various pressures.
I like this silly doodle a lot so- why not share it here?
