I've been messaging back and forth with @mohammedalanqer after he shared his fundraiser with me, and very quickly into our conversation I offered to draw a comic about him to help boost his gofundme. he was incredibly excited about the idea and shared so many lovely pictures of his family for reference. the text is based off his story of him and his family living under constant bombardment, which you can read here.

js gonna say on the mephone child debate all of the contestants are adults no matter what. even if mephone is a child he definitely intended all of the contestants to be adults. they own buildings, they can use lethal weapons. and plus everyone usually on reality tv IS an adult. and all of the contestants are way more mature than mephone, even taking care of him in some ways. so DO NOT BE SAYING ANYBODY IS A MINOR BC THEYRE NOT

S2 II EP16 FINALE SPOILERS

Something I've noticed in the new ep is Cobs' super casual behavior, it is less "evil malicious villain" and more "watching the baby during playtime." He sees none of this as a serious situation, because, to him, everyone involved besides himself, is a lesser being. Mephone4 is his temperamental child, and the contestants are the toys he plays with to relieve stress.

When he speaks about Mephone, he only refers to him in the condescending tone of a parent. He thinks of his show as his first little passion project. He sees this reality show that Mephone has put his most into and goes "Aww how cute, we'll hang this one on the fridge"

It's a mockery of a parent's pride. He does not see Mephone as the person he is.

Now when it comes to the contestants he's an entirely different type of condescending. Cobs views them the way any person views the characters in their favorite TV show, unlike with Mephone where he undermines his emotional maturity, with the contestants he undermines their humanity. Like I said earlier, these are the toys his child has made for himself. He even compares their existence to him and his inventions.

When he speaks to Knife and Suitcase about the truth of their reality and how he's been basically wiping their friends from existence, he says it like THIS.

His tone is so flippant. It creates this feeling of just mind-shattering existential dread. He's not even doing this to hurt the contestants. Because he just doesn't care about them like that. This isn't really about them, they're not real people. In his eyes, this is just between him and Mephone4. So whatever happens to contestants means nothing.

This isn't the "Tough guy that watches over everything" act.

He basically thinks he's god.
