The fox's long nose wiggled, taking a quick whiff of the cone the girl sat in front of it. And then he puffed.

" It SMELLS like my UNCLE'S FARM ! Which.. didn't REALLY smell NICE. " A furry hand scratched his chin, eyes narrowing. Thinking about the farm and what conspired then wasn't that good of a memory, he shrugged.

" I GUESS you have a POINT. But I meant ice cream that was NORMAL, not... QUESTIONABLE, "

aside from the answer being completely incorrect ( seeing as strawberry was the best flavor ) … it also assumed dot was incapable of knowing that there was no such thing as all favorites. parents had their pick of the litter, and farmers had their cream of the crop.

on cue, she whips out a fresh scoop of horse flesh icecream. suffice to say, it’s gross, and dot’s wearing latex gloves over her regular white ones.

“ even this one? ” she asked stickily, widening her eyes into the best mock-up of innocence she could muster — which, knowing her, was considerably. dot waved the cone in front of the fox’s eyes, daring him to taste it.
