i think a lot of people are scared to learn queer history because they think it's all depressing. and yeah, most of it is. it sucks, but it's a necessary thing to learn. but there is also queer joy. there is queer love. there is sappho and there is stonewall and there is queer newspaper comics and there is pride parades and there is homophobic politicians getting creampied directly in the face. there is queer joy to be known, and nobody learns about it because they're so scared of learning of queer pain.

Does anybody else get like imposter syndrome when they make good art. Like everytime a good paiting doesnt take days to complete it feels like cheating.
