“from the top of the morning, i shine / right through the blinds / touching everything in my rear view / and everything nexts to me gets lit up too.” beyoncé never lied. people talk about being recognized by her like it’s being seen by the sun itself.
you will find that solarians - whether it’s sidereal or tropical placements - give a light that is inspiring to those around them. it’s the sun that enables life, and life is divine creation.
solarians give a light that warms those around them. the sun is bright on its own, using its own energy to power and illuminate their surroundings. people just wanna be close to u bc of it
strong solarians just really leave wonder wherever they go. i think it’s bc they don’t shy away from being possessive with their light.
a healthy sun is generous. the sun is so generous, that even when she’s gone and we can’t see her, she still gives her light to the moon so that the moon can shine too. and the sun loses none of her own light by doing so. we can never directly see the sun, but we see the effects of her brilliance. she’s infectiously inspiring.
So a lot has gone on in the last little bit. NASA recently was ordered to scrub their site of women's contributions to astronomy and astrophysics, even took down their page celebrating women's history month and all the contributions they've made to NASA. So I did a thing and crawled through the wayback machine to find some articles, and decided to put this right here because fuck the government, fuck the orange in charge who told them to scrub their site, and fuck NASA for throwing their people under the bus and bowing to this authoritarian nonsense. This version of the site still has articles on some important figures like Eileen Collins, the first woman to command a space shuttle, and ISS chief scientist Jennifer Buchli and chief deputy scientist Meghan Everett, who, in their words, "-provide the science strategy and make science recommendations for the International Space Station program, and help make sure all of the science on the International Space Station goes smoothly, from preparing for launch to conducting research on the space station with the scientists and astronauts and returning the science to Earth."
Shravana is the last Moon Nakshatra, and thus it represents the most evolved, collective form of the Moon energy. For a more detailed description of Moon-ruled Nakshatras, I invite you to look at my master post, where you will find a post about the cyclical, energetic changes of the Nakshatras, and what each stage represents.
Moon ruled Nakshatras are very physical in nature and expression. These Nakshatras have the power to harness spiritual energies through bringing their glory into the material world. Shravana, being Moon’s most evolved expression, is the place where we truly bridge the gap between the worlds. In consequence, we gain real understanding of how these two dimensions of existence are intricately linked, and how one can be profoundly expressed through the other. Just as there is a divine spark in the material reality around us, our bodies and nature itself is a manifestation and personification of eternal energies of the universe.
Moon ruled Nakshatras are a material aspect of the Divine Feminine archetype - the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone. In contrast, Saturn ruled Nakshatras which reflect this Feminine archetype as well, embody more the emotional, intense, saturated aspect of it. Here in Shravana, we reach the stage of the Crone - a wise, experienced feminine energy, that has the practical wisdom and natural understanding of the physical world, an intuitive skill coming from years of experience. This is the energy of your grandmother having unrivalled cooking abilities - due to many decades of presence with her work she now works intuitively, because the knowledge entered her subconscious energetic field. However, if you have planets in Shravana Nakshatra, you will be born having access to some form of this wisdom naturally, even from a young age, because it will be part of your ancestral karma. It may take time to develop this wisdom, however, since Shravana is in the collective stage of developmeny.
Shravana is translated to Hearing, and here in this stage, we have enough wisdom to do more than just make noise ourselves. We learn how to appreciate silence and tune into ourselves as part of this world, in order to listen to Mother Earth speaking to us. As a result, we gain the ability of perceiving signs given to us by Nature, and we learn to interpret them over time. This is because Shravana rules Intuitive Mastery of the physical world through ritualistic repetition, that allows the wisdom to “soak” into you. This is why Shravana is linked to Vishnu’s 3 steps, because Vishnu perfected these steps, through ritualistic rhythmic repetition. In this way, natives with Shravana benefit from practicing their own, intuitive rhythm that leads to self-mastery.
Shravana also has a collective dimension, being the final stage of expression of the Moon. This reflects in the Crone passing on her wisdom to the crowd, receiving and nurturing the energies of the tribe through her expertise, embodying the most refined version of Moon energies. Here we have the wise old witch, the shaman, who takes care of the tribe through sharing her experience, using her mastery of both the spiritual and material world for service of others. The imagery here is the shaman being able to use her hearing and speaking ability and ritualistic powers, in order to call on and physically attract spirits from higher dimensions. Then, she has to be open, enough to receive and hear what these energies have to say. This manifests as the power to call on the spirits of ancestors, and activate the skills that they have passed down through their bloodline. That’s why in tribal culture, the position of the Shaman was mostly hereditary, because the gift ran in one specific family. Moon ruled Nakshatras are linked to family legacy, so if you are born with them, there is an abundance of ancestral gifts to tap into, especially with Shravana Nakshatra.
I always coach people about the realistic aspect of Spirituality. Just as there is a supernatural element in all of physical life, deepest spiritual energies express themselves around us daily in simple forms. We are surrounded by spirituality when we clean our bodies, go to work, perform tasks, and if we can’t feel it, all that we are missing is the awareness of it, the “Hearing”. Logic and physicality are not separate from high-minded concepts, but complimentary with it. Everyone has the ability to recognize their own divine and spiritual potential, and realize they have been unknowingly living with it already. All that needs to be done is to look at it, listen, and recognize that the truth has been there all along.

“A ladder appeared to Jacob in a dream, "and the top of it reached to heaven: and the angels of God were going up and down on it". (Genesis 28, 12)
For Blake, the image of Jacob's Ladder as a gate to heaven was closely allied to the anatomy of the ear, whose passages he calls “The endlessly twisting spiral ascending to the Heaven of Heavens.”
According to Swedenborg, with whose writings Blake was familiar, the "opening of the inner ear" is the precondition for making contact with the higher worlds.”

What is Shakti?
Shakti translates to power in english , in the abode of stars each nakshatra is a blessed with a power that's inherent to them , the power in this sector can be channeled as a divine guiding force for a beautiful fruitful life . Check for your moon , sun and your Atmakraka ( planet in the highest degree ) .

I will make a part two if this post reaches enough hehe
Power to quickly attain ones motives or wishes , this applies in the sector of motivation and manifestation, Ashwini starts off as the sign with the most healing abilities guided by the Ashwin twins, being in the Ashwini Nakshatra your thoughts manifest being it good or bad , one has to practice discernment to thoroughly gain from this shakti , go for all the things that excite you and feel your true desires as the start of attaining something is to belive it's already yours. One in this Nakshatra can attain health and let go of disease just by commanding it feeling it. Residing in the mantra realm of Akarshan.
Power to take something away , let go of something one has . Bharani as in Atharvaveda is considered as the last nakshatra , as the nakshatra of letting go of the body. One in this Nakshatra holds the power to take things that they want for themselves as well as letting go of what they don't want, this commands as an equal force of give and take a say a power in both the sectors , in Ashwini one could see the power to attain but in Bharani one has the power to let go , let go of disease , poverty , negative thinking .
The act of burning and purifying , in hinduism fire is considered as an element of purification being it in a yagya or after death rituals, krittika with this shakti acts a Phoenix, this shakti gives krittika natives the power to destroy themselves to purify themselves, reaching the depths of their soul or rock bottom to rise above it , it's getting closer to ones rebirth . A very easy ritual for krittika natives is to write what they wanna let go of and burn it so that the fires may take away your pain, a prayer to the fire liberates . This shakti also gives you the power to bring change in the lives of the people around you , like the very strict teacher who ultimately leads to the growth of a student.
The power of creation and the gift of fertility. After krittika burns and purifies Rohini makes the land fertile for growth. This shakti bestows the native a power of creativity and bringing their imagination to life , this is the first nakshatra of control as you're the creatrix , this Nakshatra gives the native the art and knowledge of saving and combining things and an eye for the bigger picture the patience the abilities that a perfect thing takes to develop . Masters of the process .
The shakti of satisfaction and fulfillment. Mrigashira is not always the nakshatra of search its also the nakshatra of finding what one was searching . This shakti gives the native to be fulfilled in whatever endeavour they choose , they also bring a sense of fulfillment in other people's lives , to me mrigashira is a balance of the masculine and feminine the form of Ardhanareshwar . They can do anything cause they embody the ultimate fulfillment in themselves .
Yatna stands for effort , trial , this shakti is vast and diverse but what one requires is effort , if the native let's go of laziness one can find almost a meditative form of process to victory . The native has to just start and things fall in the right place . It's like a tortured victory but a victory is a victory the nature doesn't forget the process, it remembers , it remembers the form of Rudra in rage fighting for what belongs to one , the native inspires other people a spirit of fighting for rightes and gaining through the effort .
The power to gain objectives and wealth , punrvasu is the rehabilitation after the tortured gain of ardra , vastytva prapana shakti bestows the native the power and the knowledge to gain what they want in life through their knowledgeable efforts . The natives act as the people who show people how simple being and positive vibration can attract so much in ones life .They can easily attract wealth and materials in their life . The native manifests through embodiment and vision boards .
The power to harness creative spiritual energy . In Rohini we saw the start of creativity , in Pushya one harnesses it through themselves and the nature . Pushya is reiki energy , a pushya native enters the room and gives out their energy. They can easily create through their wishes , one of the fastest power in manifestation . The native becomes a beacon of light and nourishment to the people around them.
The power to inflict poison and destroy . It's no secret that ashlesha is the most seductive nakshtra , this power bestows the native to destroy the enemy by the virtue of their presence and words no weapons are required they're a friend to a friend and the worst enemy to a enemy, a silent weapon of mystery and power . The natives are like Apsara Tillotama who made Sund and Upasund who killed themselves for her . A process of slow destruction is done by them to the enemy .

Astro Observations: Random Things I Learned While Studying Vedic Astrology 🔖 📜
“If your birth chart was a book your Ascendant would be the index of that book” - Vedic Oracle Kadambari
In Vedic, the word for “Ascendant” is: “Lagna”. The etymology of the word “Lagna” , roughly translates to “Lugnut”. A lugnut is the bolt on the wheel of a car, that holds the wheel of a tire in place. Just like in your birth chart “wheel”, the Ascendant/Lagna is the anchor point from which you judge one’s entire life.
1st house is head. The 2nd house is face
Mercury represents skin
8th house represents menstruation.
Many Vedic scholars believe the Nakshatras end at Ashwini, and Krittika is the actual start of the Nakshatra cycle. In the old days they used Krittika as the 1st Nakshatra, Ashwini as the last.
People often follow a career path that relates to the Atmakaraka planet.
The 9th house represents your father. It can represent grandparents too.
3rd house is your ability to fight, initiate , and have willpower.
Ardra represents engineers, DJs, inventors, video editors, anything involving technology or electronics. Smartphones can be considered a Ardra-type invention. TikTok is a very Ardra-like social media App also.
Some Vedic Astrologers advise against marrying someone with the same Moon Nakshatra as you.
People usually marry from their Moon sign. Getting with another person based on the Moon sign synastry mainly. For example if you read this post from your Vedic moon sign, it could resonate more accurately.
Mahadashas outline the timeline of your destiny. If you ever wanted to know when certain things will happen in your life (marriage, pregnancy, fame etc) in its most accurate sense, Mahadashas will reveal it.
People can gain massive fame during Rahu Mahadasha. For example, Doja Cat blew up when her Rahu MD started. She has Rahu in the 1st house in Libra.
One can develop skin or hair problems during their Rahu Mahadasha or Antardasha.
From my observation, Ketu Mahadasha is one of the toughest Mahadashas to go through, depending on your Ketu placement of course.
Mula can represent a fall from grace. Often Mula gains a lot in life but then loses it all in some unexpected event. Not just Mula people, but this Nakshatra stage in general represents this type of dynamic.
Mars is a materialistic planet. Mars is goal oriented and wants tangible results of it’s actions. Vedic Astrologer Gina Lyhane gave the metaphor that Mars is a solider. The tangible evidence that the soldier has achieved victory, is the amount of his enemy’s bodies that are left on the battle field. (Mars rules bloodshed)
Mars is the planet that represents Astrology. People with Mars in water signs, or in the 8th or 12th, or conjunct Jupiter or Ketu tend to be into Astrology or take it up as a living,
Your Ketu is the subconscious foundation of who you are. Without Ketu you wouldn’t exist.
Jupiter & Ketu have a deep connection. It’s said that Jupiter is the only planet that Ketu respects.
5th house= receiving honor. When one goes through a major 5H transit, or the Mahadasha of the planet that ruled your 5H, one gains honor, recognition, status or even fame
8th house rules one’s downfall, humiliation, or loss of reputation. If you’re going through the Mahadasha of your 8H planet, or a 8H transit, that’s when you can experience that sort of event.
Rahu personifications: bad boy, trickster, rebel, deceivers, the politician, conmen, pirates, shady car salesmen, the evil genius, a greedy businessman, social climbers, comedians, satirists, fortune tellers, the unorthodox one, revolutionaries, the one who stands out, lean & tall people.
Colors associated with Rahu: flame red, bright yellow, sea green, electric blue.
Ketu personifications: the sage, the shaman, the phoenix, mysterious people, truth seekers, outcasts, strange people, the music prodigy, those who are apathetic/indifferent, rebels against authorities, ascetics, the librarian, the researcher, the emo one, the melancholy one, independent people, short people.
Colors associated with Ketu: earth tone shades, grey, yellow, orange, turquoise, sunrise colors.
*Morbid/d**th TW*it’s common one’s life comes to an end when they are running their Ketu Mahadasha. This can happen too when Ketu is transiting one’s 1st house, or when it transits on top of Sun or Moon. Ketu rules endings. It’s takes you away from the material world, literally or metaphorically.
