I love the way Pumbaa's voice gets low whenever he's exasperated, it's one of my favorite running gags. ("...Were you just picking your nose?") The voice-acting is fantastic and always makes me laugh and Ernie Sabella is such a legend.
Shout-out to the legend Nathan Lane for giving a great summary of the current state of affairs on national television (and cheers to Colbert for not interrupting him) (X)
All this talk about Timon’s masking behavior and his relationship with Pumbaa reminded me of this scenario that popped into my head while watching Mid-Century Modern, directly inspired by a heartfelt, adorable, and HILARIOUS scene between Jerry and Bunny. (If you’ve watched the show, you’ll know the one!!)
—
Scenario:
Pumbaa admits he has feelings for Timon. And articulates that he never brought it up because he didn’t want to ruin what they had. And how he thought Timon wouldn’t want to talk about feelings or define anything. And how, if they DID define it, the fear of losing each other was too great and terrible.
And Timon just straight up vomits in response. Not out of disgust, but out of emotional overwhelm. ☠️
—
Pumbaa: I love you. Always have. Always will. I didn’t wanna scare ya away, so I never told ya.
Timon: (slow blinks)
(Retches)
*BLARGHHHHHHHHHHH*

~BONUS~
(A direct quote from Nathan Lane’s character, Bunny.)
Timon (wiping his mouth): “…I can see why you’d be attracted to me.”
Sometimes I feel like I don’t count as a “real” TLK fan 🫥
JUST GOT TO MAKE IT TO THE TWENTY-EIGHT...(pretty much just a random ass rant)
I have been WAITING for this show (Mid-Century Modern) for a while now and I'm SO EXCITED for when it releases. From what I've seen, it's about three guys - Matt Bomer, Nathan Lane, and Nathan Lee, in the picture, excluding Linda (who is Nathan's mother in the show) - and them coming to live together after a recent death. Also, Linda died recently (rest in peace) and I haven't seen how they're going to continue the show with that yet.
guaaahhhhh yeah that's pretty much all I know :ppppp Ive seen people compare it to Golden Girls and according to Nathan Lee (where I read somewhere) that comparisons aren't inevitable and uh yeah I'm excited and I'm gonna glaze tf out of this show even if I don't like sitcoms that much and apparently some said it was raunchy/corny BUT THATS OKAY IM SURE I just love gay people AND NATHAN LANE. anyways high hopes 4 this !!
Sketch.

So I had to do some errands today and then stopped by Five Below and saw this cute guy:
Sadly, his husband seems to be missing. ;-;
colored and shaded it!
today on things that i analyze significantly more than i should; omitb edition: something about theo being named after teddy (different nicknames, obviously, but presumably both named theodore) makes me insane because like. theo’s entire plotline is about living in his fathers shadow and how teddy has sort of taken advantage of his sons disability as a way to control him; roping theo into his criminal enterprise, making him do the dirty work, even when they both get arrested everyone frames it as “we caught teddy dimas!” as if theo wasn’t also taken down with him. so the fact that theo’s own name is in his fathers shadow? named after him and forever unable to escape the impact of his dad, always associated with him in a way beyond his control?? absolutely destroys me.
