the spooky stream last night was fun

phenomenal news, all

so over the last couple of days i've been working on my John Doe cosplay, which i needed to set up for ease of access (so i could work on it without wearing it)

an unintended consequence of this has been. the creation of this thing that now lives in my bedroom

my room now feels like an arthur lester simulator. i wake up, i fall asleep, i sit down or stand up and there is The Creature

he is currently discovering the joy of whimsy (and felt ornament i made of john for an xmas party) life is so beautiful 💛

he is frightening my roommates. i love him

is this a safe space (it is. i know it is. especially because this is my blog.) to say that I love noel. i have no evidence as to why he's a great character or whatnot i just love him.

out of non-jarthur characters he is absolutely my favorite and i hope harlan can be inspired (persuaded, even) to make a noel spinoff of malevolent (ambivalent, if you will).

i think a lot of it is just because i love the voice harlan does for him but just in general i think he's such an interesting character especially out of our recurring characters. i think we're done with oscar, and i could see us being done with noel but I really hope when kayne sent him to spain he meant like. spain in the 1200s. probably not but i just want to see my favorite side goober again

so arthur lester was for sure rich right? like he avoided child labor pre ww1 in america when he was just about the perfect age for it, in the midst of said war he was able to be a composer as well as a nanny for his daughter, assumingly full time, and during the depression and probably in the prohibition he could afford to be a drunk.

i know he probably did it out of the kindness of his heart, but id like to imagine that parker saw this rich drunk and decided that he could worm his way into his will with enough annoyance.
