this is about procrastinating. or executive dysfunction. i think
so arthur lester was for sure rich right? like he avoided child labor pre ww1 in america when he was just about the perfect age for it, in the midst of said war he was able to be a composer as well as a nanny for his daughter, assumingly full time, and during the depression and probably in the prohibition he could afford to be a drunk.
i know he probably did it out of the kindness of his heart, but id like to imagine that parker saw this rich drunk and decided that he could worm his way into his will with enough annoyance.
Hello, friends!
I have been doing steady work behind the scenes, and I am ready now! I am proud to announce that…
For those out of the loop: The first time I tried to set a date in 2023, my life was derailed significantly very soon thereafter in a series of mishappenings. It's taken me some time to get back on the horse, but I am back now, stronger, and here for good. Watch out, I am coming a'galloping!
I am very excited for this junction and for the return of these beloved characters. I believe that the writing for this season is some of my best work, and I am so wicked excited to produce that I can barely hold my joy.
See you all in June!
obsessed with kellin malevolent. i don’t talk about him enough but my god is he one of the side characters of all time.
first of all, this guy drops perhaps the best one liners in the entire show. i cannot express how much i love the line “arthur, tell that voice in your head that my mother was not a whore,” cause like, on the one hand its fucking funny as anything, especially when paired with harlan’s equivalent of a vine boom effect. but on the OTHER HAND, this line is absolutely terrifying cause we go the entire ep thinking this guy is nothing like arthur and the voices he speaks of just signify his own mental instability but then we get this shocker of a reveal!! UGH, i adore ep 4 so much.
and don’t even get me started on just how creepy the entire ep is. i’ll never forget how much of a captive i felt like listening to that ep, trapped in that car with arthur not sure what this quick tempered guy in a gas mask was gonna do next. that unsettling dread was unmatched.
and oh, kellin in SCRATCH’S DREAM ??!! fucking incredible scene. we go so long never thinking about this guy and then bam, a nightmare encounter showing back up in arthur’s nightmares.
also just obsessed with kellin’s attitude. yes, please sing a shitty cover of a song that hasn’t been released yet. i adore how arthur gets in the car and kellin essentially just demands that arthur serenades him and then gets pissed when arthur fucks up the lyrics.
truly an icon of a character. kellin holeman i’ll never forget you.
i hope arthur arrives back in 1934 and it turns out he's carrying every plague from the 1200s and he ends up causing a mass outbreak
was about to make a "gay people can never flirt normally" post about arkayne but realized kayne does actually.
-"my love" and similar: self explanatory. normal flirting
-giving him a dagger: shiny trinket like crow. kayne's not the one who decided to stab himself with it
-helps with his wound in coda and probably also part 28
-watches his entire life in this and thousands of other timelines: he wants to know more about arthur. normal crush behavior probably
-writes and directs a christmas special starring one of those other arthurs: creative expression. like a journal to him i think.
-sends his enemy to hell, kills his enemy-turned-half-situationship, and sends his other situationship to spain (?): he just wants some alone time is that really too much to ask
-plays him a song on the piano :)
-sends him on a fetch quest to the 1200s: he got nervous idk. don't we all
The reason every malevolent episode ends with the sound of static is because this is actually Arthur telling his experiences to Jonathan Sims on the Magnus institute
And, yes, he is doing all the voices himself.
Arthur: Can we try rizzing you up so you don't end like... the whole reality?
Kayne: sure lol
Jarthur: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEA-
So we all remember in season 3 when John lost his memory but he didn't actually lose his memory because it wasn't John? But it still hurt because right before that John said "whatever happens I'll never forget you"
I know this probably won't happen but right after that, Arthur said "me neither John" and I just think it would be really interesting and fun if ((52spoiler) because Arthur got annihilated in the latest episode) John got stuck in an Arthur from another timeline meaning Arthur would "forget"
Now I haven't bothered to think about anything that would happen after that logistically and I'm not going to lmao honestly I just wish we could have gotten that parallel
"Where is the blackstone?"
Suspiciously blackstone shaped Antoine:
