Excuse me but I'm heart eyes @ all of your art SO HARD right now. I found your youtube channel a few months ago but I didn't know you A) ALSO DREW THEM and B) are also in BC? Vancouver Island??? (Not sure if you still are, I was just reading your About Me) ... AND you work with bats, wow you are SO FUCKING COOL
Anyway thank you for sharing, I know literally 0 other people who know of Zaput and Zosky so this has truly been a trip down memory lane. <333
So sorry it took so long for me to answer you, this is one of the nicest messages I've ever gotten and I wanted to make sure I replied in a way that showcases that! You've made my entire month, seriously I keep coming back to this and it always makes me smile, something especially appreciated right now! (I've lived on the island for over a decade but am currently in the process of moving, which totally sucks. Just heading across the pond to Vancouver though, still very close!)
K&Z was super important to me growing up and when I learned so few people knew about it I wanted to change that! They are so iconic to me fr, always so glad to meet fellow fans; I know that every time I do I feel super excited so there's also an aspect of self-indulgence there of course. I am very normal about this obscure Nicktoon from 2002 that nobody's ever heard of
Anyway, thank you so much for such a sweet ask; making people happy is why I upload so it's always so so appreciated to hear it working. Much, much love to you! <33
One of two pieces I did for Art Fight this year. Rather fond of the colors in this one!
This is my dear friend @ghostlygunk's character, Callum! They were so wonderful to draw, very Shape. This is them taking a moment in between cleaning up a crime scene, perhaps contemplating something or another...
Hi! I want to preface this by saying that I mean absolutely no disrespect; nothing but support to my fellow artist, your style is unique and valuable and that doesn't go unappreciated!
With that being said, I really do not think this technique should be relied on for beginner artists. The individual parts are there, but with fundamentals it's REALLY important you understand how they're put together; they serve as the basis for everything you draw and getting to know them right can save you a TON of hardship in the future!
It's also worth mentioning that the sad truth is that neither of these techniques are gonna take you only fifteen minutes if you're drawing anything other than a sphere haha, but I really enjoy the process personally! Everything's made out of shapes, so put on a video essay about some game you've never heard of and do your thing, it's therapeutic!
Remember to be careful when it comes to online tutorials and not just take my or any other rando's word for it! I'm not an expert; ideally you'd be learning things like fundamentals from professionals. Marco Bucci and Proko are two of my favorites who provide their super valuable knowledge for free on YT in really digestible ways; they've helped me a lot throughout the years.
And, most of all, remember that there's really no wrong way to draw as long as you're having fun. If you're getting something out of the experience, then you're doing it right!
Happy arting, everybody! ^^
fast rendering tutorial for when you dont want to put in any effort
Entirely self-indulgent Ford with a snake. Man I wanna snuggle with Riddle but she’s pulling a funny ball python bit and not eating >:T Ungrateful noodle

Quote is from South Park. Bonus versions under the cut ‘cause I couldn’t decide which punchline I liked best :P
A gift/late Art Fight revenge for my buddy @razziliciousart !! We’ve both got bat sonas, but hers is afraid of heights and mine loves to be high up, so I wanted to play with that dynamic a bit. :D
I’ve never been so proud of one of my pieces before. I didn’t know I had something like this in me and I got really emotional when it was finished because I finally feel like I’m becoming the artist I’ve always wanted to be. I really hope you enjoy this as much as I do! <3 <3
Oh, on another note, could someone tell me the Tumblr method for replying to comments on your posts? People are being so sweet and I wanna thank them but I’m not sure how!
Secret Santa gift for my buddy Gingler on Toyhouse! I'm pretty happy with it even though I impulsively did line art again >:P I looked at so many thalassophobia images I love their vibes so much. Hope you all had a nice holiday!
