“Alright, so I came across body gold [amuri DTA] a while back and instantly fell in love, what an incredibly gorgeous lady she is <3 I absolutely needed to try for her and immediately had several ideas, but I went with this one because of how it represents her and the story I have in mind for her. I'm very pleased with how it came out!“

I liked this sketch a lot so I gussied it up a bit! Still a bit rough but that’s okay, just wanted to work on something heartwarming and cozy. :D Felt it was still a bit lacking though so now it’s “animated”. Just a two-frame implication of breathing is all. :p I think it’s a good lil addition though!

After a whole year’s worth of awful depression I think that I’m finally starting to feel like my old self again after seeing a psychiatrist. Things are really looking up for me and I hope some of that happiness shines through here. <3 Have a lovely evening, everybody!

Chiroptera Visual Database

Hi there! A couple years back I compiled a massive folder of all the bat species in the world* in photographs for quick visual reference. I feel I should share it in hopes that it can help someone like it has me and save them a lot of time looking up ambiguous search terms such as "bat species" or trying to find photographs of obscure ones.

This database contains:

Sub-folders labelled after families (vesper bats, megabats, etc.) for easier sorting

A-Z sorted photographs of all the documented species in the world*

A little text document telling of the best places to find more photographs and/or info about the species

Photographs include professional-grade shots, scientific illustrations, fieldwork photographs, headshots, wingspans, skeletons, skulls, foot details, and comparison shots between species

All files are downloadable, including the folder itself which you can get as a .zip

Some of these photographs are very obscure and needed to be dug out of the farthest corners of the ‘net. This was a passion project of mine in order to give myself an easy-to-access art resource to better understand these animals and their incredible diversity. I hope you can find some use of this, as well!

Nothing here belongs to me, all of these images were found using Google Images and this is meant to be nothing more than a database/directory for anatomical reference. *Some species have only been documented in writing and therefore do not have readily-available photographs of them on the internet. This database was compiled by going through the list of documented species and finding photographs of them when I could; there are even more species than those listed in this folder!

Here's to another year! It's been a real wild one full of some high highs and some low lows, but hey, we're all still alive :)

Drew this when I was in the middle of a really bad depressive episode, so please excuse how overwhelmingly cartoonishly tooth-rottingly fluffy it is lol; cuddles are my go-to when I’m feeling especially low. I am cringe and I am free. I AM CRINGE AND I AM FREE. (And also not depressed anymore so that’s good!)

Fun fact: I actually remade the middle right one on my computer (this was via iPad which I don’t particularly like) over here!

Instant Inspiration Moodboard Generator

Hey there, I'm back with a new generator for you guys!

As I'm sure you know, finding inspiration can be tricky sometimes, even if you, theoretically, have a ton! I was having this issue and it seemed like I just could not choose when it came to my massive list of moodboards when I felt like designing, so I did what I always do and just removed the aspect of choice entirely. Who needs free will anyway?

Unlike other generators, this one chooses from premade moodboards created by human beings instead of randomly selecting each image. Results were taken from impressive collections on Pinterest and Sta.sh, and at its launch contains around 800 different moodboards! That's like, one adopt every day for two and a half years! I'm probably gonna forget to update this description as well so if you're seeing this in the future then expect even more aestheticy goodness.
