I’m so so happy I’ve finished this topic because a lot of it is just common sense. However, lessons are a laugh, as always :)
Analysing Der Vorleser in German is really amazing and I have my first essay to write on it this week! I really want to smash it out the park.
Maths is going well - I’ve used all this time I have to take it a bit easy these past two days because I felt like I was neglecting French.
Chemistry work is all done! AND I was in bed for 9:45pm, too :)
Plus - there’s supposed to be a biology test next week and I’m going to miss it for a visit day to Birmingham, which might just mess my schedule up but I’m excited for the visit nonetheless.
Have a great rest-of-week guys!
Reblogging because this is some serious talent that needs to be shown to the whole world 😍

So my mental health is struggling but I am self-aware enough to know that and I am actively getting some help because I don’t want a second bout of severe depression HOWEVER I know that my stress is transient and I will have the summer to recover. It isn’t worth destroying my brain and wellbeing for A Levels!
I decided to just write a plain old paper essay for German but then quickly remembered I can’t double tap the pen to erase my mistakes sooooo Tippex is my friend!
Happy February! New month, new me? I’m going to do the productivity challenge again.
My mum visited me at uni today so I spent the afternoon with her in Birmingham. I decided to condense 3 handouts from my lecture course on carbonyl chemistry onto one summary page this morning before I met her, and I finished it off after she left to get the train home.
I decided to write up the mechanism for Swern oxidation even though it’s beyond the scope of the first year course; it helps me remember the conditions if I actually know what each reagent does!
I freaking love my French teacher’s accent. She’s lived in England for a couple of decades but that’s still a part of her and it’s gorgeous
you know what? accents are actually lovely. like you can learn all the languages in the world and you still have a part of your own with you. that’s cute
After a much-needed month off, I decided to watch some chemistry lectures on YouTube to remind myself why I want to study this in the first place. I thought it would be a good idea to go right back to basics and give myself a rock-solid mathematical foundation to stand me in good stead for October.
If you’ve been following me for a while you might notice that this is not my beloved purple HP, but its sleeker, younger cousin - I retired that one and it is living out its last years with my mum. After 5 years of abuse, it deserves it!
Stay hydrated folks! Also, who knew muscles were so exciting?
I’ve been meaning to finish these notes for ages haha
Guitar cases make great makeshift desks when you don’t have an actual desk lol
ft physical chemistry notes on dispersions and interfaces
Congrats to OP on finishing finals! Also, I have to share because LOOK AT THAT CAT OMG 😍
23/6/2020
My finals are over!! Yes yes yes! I am so glad I made it through (successfully?) So here is an old photo of my cat interrupting my study session.
Good luck to everyone still studying and trying their best! You can do it and you will!!

3 days until A Level results day and I feel physically sick knowing that what’s on that paper is not going to be a reflection of my best work by a long shot.
However, I know that I will have plenty of opportunities to prove myself at uni. New chapter, new start. It’s all a learning curve and those results can’t hurt me. I’ve already got a confirmed place at uni; now I need to focus on that.
Good luck to any fellow A level takers of 2019. We will get out the other side x
I hope your studies go well and have a great day! x
Thank you so much! I appreciate that more than you’ll ever know xx
(I am still alive folks - I’ve got my German speaking exam on Friday 17th May and I’ve just done my French oral, which went fantastically!)
