Today was very busy but I started writing my personal statement in my free period and then typed up biology notes, did a French listening homework and uploaded a load of German vocab to Quizlet. And now I’m in bed - night all! :)
This is amazing!
here is a gif showing how blood flows through the heart in case you need extra motivation
Hey, I would like to ask, which Programm do you make this cool pages? Sorry, my englisch is bad, because I'm a german and I learn in the school englisch🙈
Ist schon ok - Deutsch lerne ich in der Schule auch! Ich benutze „Notability“ :)
And for the English speakers out here, I use Notability :)
I wish I’d learned to struggle properly earlier in my education. I’d always understood everything first time round, but now I can’t say that and I don’t know how to fix it
Me: The main problem isn’t necessarily the volume, it’s the dissonance
a neurotypical: if you have noise sensitivity why do you listen to loud music?
me: one loud noise is easier than 20 loud noises all at once.
I’m having an awful mental health day. I don’t know if I’m worried about something or not... that is the beauty of depression. It’s been at bay for a while but I’m afraid it’s going to come back and I hate feeling like this :(
I just want a hug.
And to hear back from Cambridge. Anything. I don’t care if I get rejected, I just want to know.
Other than that, this morning was ok, and I got a fair amount done. It was my Maths morning today so I did a bunch of integration. Fun times!

I love whiteboards. They make me feel smart!
This was an intro to inorganic solid state synthesis and was essentially just a bunch of information that was handed to us. It’s rare that this type of thing happens in a chem degree... we are normally far more problem-solving than that. This reminds me more of GCSE or A level where we had to know a bunch of advantages and disadvantages for different processes and describe how they work. Hated it then, hate it now!
26/08/18 - I decided to try out my new stationery on some chemistry notes in preparation for the next academic year. Roll on Year 13!
back at it again with the chem
My motivation is also saying 📈📉📈📉 at this point!

Day 16 of My Summer Studying Challenge
✨ 28th July ✨ How do you stay motivated to study during the summer?
my motivation is quite up and down at the moment actually but i’ve just been trying to break down the tasks as much as possible and set achievable goals. but as well as this i’ve been trying to take time to relax. there’s also been some tasks that just generally i’ve wanted to do more so i’ve been way more motivated to do those than ones that just seem a bit boring
We have this twisted idea that we have to achieve everything and then plateau before middle age hits. In reality, all the years you have on this planet are worthwhile and full of growth, not just the first half that are painted with this glorified ideal of “youth”
People starting new hobbies later in life are awesome. Like after all of these years, they’re still going out there and exploring new things instead of remaining stagnant.
