This is Miss Dream’s translation, and while it’s debatable , it’s still more correct than wildly accepted “I like Kunzite”, simply because 

ゾイサイトをがわいがってる ZOISAITO wo ga wai gatteru

First of all, it’s clear that it’s “Zoisite” which is written there, not “Kunzite” (just compare the first katakana characters, ゾ means “zo”, ク means “ku”)

it seems that this verb isn’t used for first-person speech at all, and if it’s like that, then Takeuchi just couldn’t talk about herself there. 

Even if more correct translation is “has feelings towards Zoisite” or “wants to stick it in Zoisite’s pooper”, it doesn’t really matter much. It still has more fuel than anything regarding the dreaded sen/shi. After all, if Takeuchi had wanted her mikakuru romansu x5 so much, she сould have freely write this little sentence not about Zoisite, but about Minako, and then do the same with the other three shitennou.

She didn’t.

So all these “BUT THIS WAS TAKEUCHI’S REAL VISION, HER OWN WILL, THAT’S WHAT SHE WANTED ALL THE TIME BAWW CRYSTAL IS TRUE CANON” are moot. I doubt that she even participated in Crystal’s development at all, simply because when she did in PGSM, the result turned out to be weird, but solid and enjoyable. And I certainly hope that nor she nor her family have watched Crystal at all.

That means if Crystal crew really did give a fuck about what was in manga or characters’ personalities, they could have freely leave KunZoi intact.
