This ask was inspired by your recent post about Kai's powers and reminded me of an hc of mine concerning Kai specifically; if either of his younger siblings are cold (such as perhaps nearly drowning once or twice, cough cough Lloyd cough cough) then he'll use his elemental power to raise his internal temperature, trap them in a hug, and warm them up. The rise in body temp might not affect him, so sick younger sister or brother? Nope you aren't going anywhere, you're staying right there Nya/Lloyd and you are recovering. P.s. Lloyd going limp pretty much because dragon instincts go brrrrrt and he loves being warm

Okay but have i ever told you guys how i have a tiny barely developed AU where Morro, Vania, Echo, Cryptor, Benthomaar, Skylor, and Harumi are the very reluctant second ninja 2.0 when they disappear one day and the FSM is like ‘well thats not right…’ and destiny’s like ‘yeah, its not. Fix it.’

And now you have these seven somehow meeting and fixing a weird version of their ninjago to fix the past and find the ninja to remind them OR save them??

Sigh... Thinking about DFFOO Kadaj again.

The literal definition of a sopping wet cat. But he was so sweet. He was trying his best. He did everything he could despite not knowing what was going on or where to go. He went through so much just to find his family. Any family, really.

Fucking look at him. I want someone to hold him and tell him everything will be alright AND GUESS WHAT. THEY DID. AERITH AND ZACK SWOOPED IN AND GAVE HIM A FAMILY HE DESERVES. Even fucking SEYMOUR of all people realized that Kadaj was happier with the "good" guys rather than trying (and failing) to be a villain.

In Dissidia, it is strikingly clear which characters are meant to be villains and heroes. I think Kadaj was one of the very few, if not ONLY character who switched between both sides. He thought being a villain would help him find mother, but then Sephiroth betrayed him. So he tried again. And Weiss literally kicked his ass and sent his unconscious body to the heroes, saying "he's yours now."

Kadaj was the only villain that was unknowingly a hero. He was always meant to be good. It was the manipulation and lies that made him think he was supposed to be evil. But no. He's just a child who wants a family. And Opera Omnia gave him that.

AND THEN THEY WENT AND SHUT DOWN THE GAME (but that's a different rant)

Imagine the begging look in lloyds eyes, so kai saved him in the fire temple.

In this moment, he thought kai had every right to leave him to die. His mom didnt want him, his dad didnt think he was bad enough and he was just a pain to the other ninja, why should kai save him.

All he could do was give him a pleading look and a yelp for help.
