This has been my WIP over the last few days. My friend, the fabulous @brimalaspino , has done beautiful Mehndi work and she inspired me to try doing a mandala for my #bulletjournal * The mandala was drawn with a #sakuramicron pen and, accented with gold foil #washitape , and then colored with #watercolorpencils * Since I didn't want to cover up and mar all the intricate work I had just done, I used thin vellum to create my weekly spread overlay. I found this "ugly sweater" at Wal-mart on my last excursion to town. Of course I bought it, 'cause foxes, duh! Here are the #goodies I found during my #targetrun and my #happyplace @michaelsstores 😊 The @scotchproducts Washi tape and Washi spools on top were from Target. I found the small tube in the #targetdollarspot. I was hoping to find more, but it was the only one. On my trip to Michael's craft store, I found they had a buy two, get one free deal going on, plus I had a 20% off my entire purchase coupon! So I picked out three packs of #washitape , a some #watercolorpencils , a #pigmamicron 0.25 pen, and a set of #aquabrushes to try out in my #bulletjournal 🦊❤ 📖📚✏✒🖋🖊🖌

I found out today that there is an #echinacea (#purpleconeflower) called #rainbowmarcella 🦊❤🌈🌻 This makes me infinitely happy, since it's so hard to find anything with my name on it!😍 I hope you all have a wonderful day, and plant some #rainbows in your gardens!

Update on the Leprechaun Catcher/trap/thingy: I know a little bit about fae (fairies, elves, brownies, etc.) lore and I learned that while most fae are relatively benign, a person definitely does NOT want to irk their ire. Leprechauns being tricksters, neither good nor evil, love to have a reason to annoy humans. But they will also help those in need. At no time, ever, does a person want to catch a Leprechaun to get wishes granted! They will be twisted and work against you. And if you catch a Leprechaun in order to get gold, well... don't. Just don't. Leprechauns can and will make your life miserable and always get their gold back. However, if you are in need of new shoes/shoe repair (or small help around the house) and you leave a piece of gold, or a bowl of milk out, the leprechaun will mend your shoes or fix what's broken as payment for your kindness. So with that in mind, I filled doll's shoes with "gold", set them over the trap, but cut a door in the back and placed a letter inside telling the Leprechaun we mean him no harm and wish only the best for him/herself.🦊💚☘ #saintpatricksday #leprechaun #leprechauntrap #gold #thethingsidoformykid #shamrock #catholic #irish #wearingofthegreen #nosnakesplease #fairy

Tadahhh!!! My July monthly spread. Its "vacation season" so I don't have many goals, but I liked the #washitape , so it stays. If you can't tell, I have a *bit* of a #fox theme going on. 🦊💖 ° The #foxwashi is from @papergame.co and I loved it so much, I bought two samples and then a whole roll when it became available in the shop!
