Me and my mom did something similar to this (last summer, I believe). Someone even had the balls to ask if we weren’t gonna stand up for the national anthem. My mom gave him a death glare and he shut up.

Also, in grade school, I stopped saying the “one nation, under God” thing in the pledge of allegiance because it made me uncomfortable (we’re not religious). It was my mom’s advice. Wish I hadn’t said the pledge of allegiance at all, but I wasn’t fully aware of how cult-y it was back then. Can’t believe they have children doing that every day they go to school.

But yes, please don’t succumb to being a mindless zombie for those in power. Speak out and fight back. The world won’t ever get better if we continue to do nothing.

remembering what past versions of Onyx looked and acted like… so I wrote them down

I literally created Onyx right after Sonic 3 came out, and she’s already on her sixth version.

(Also, typing out “sixth” felt so wrong. It doesn’t even look like a real word.)

Concept art ideas for two of the main characters in my story I’m starting to write again. I started writing it when I was 11 (during the pandemic), and recently rediscovered it.

Characters:

Left: Luna Pearl (main character) [I drew her last and got lazy, lol. I’m not really good at drawing two eyes or hands yet…and I drew the hoodie after I drew her hands behind her back…😭] I’ll redraw her soon, I swear.

Right: Rose Star (first acquired friend) [Had a lot more motivation with drawing her since I drew her first…]
