I actually really like the idea of Vox having had a stutter when he was alive. Vox speaks in a very rhythmic way, putting emphasis at pretty regular intervals, very syncopated. This super controlled way of speaking, with focus on a fluid speech pattern, is one of the handful of ways speech therapists help patients overcome stutters, and that rhythmic speech pattern coupled with the way he literally glitches through words when he’s worked up and not focusing on his rhythm rlly drives that home for me.

I’m just v taken with the concept of Vox having this stutter from when he was a kid, and so studiously and rigorously learning how to control it for the sake of his image and his aspirations to work on television, that no one has any idea he has it bc he keeps it so controlled. Which does make the idea that Alastor can get him to drop it enough to fall back into that stutter rlly fun.

Princess Core Vox

First ever animatic, done!! (≧∇≦)ﾉ And it's past radiostatic fluff, simple and happy~ I didn't want to jump into a big project right away, so instead of working with one of the ideas I've wanted to do for a while, I went with half of a song that I got stuck in my head and fit well enough lol

Btw, there's sth I wasn't able to keep while translating the text for the subtitles; I've used the line "Lubię patrzeć na twoją paszczę" (I like to stare at your mug) as a pun, bc "paszcza" while in the informal language would be equal to "mug" (as in, face) literally it means "maw"!

is it wrong that I think Vox might be scared to leave the tower?

Like…he didn’t leave V tower at all during the whole of season one.

Could he have some kind of agoraphobia?

Vox vs. gossip-

I think it would be so interesting if the reason Alastor affiliated himself with Vox in the first place was because he sought sinners who showed great potential for power in the hope that they could free him from his dealer one day. What Vox saw in Alastor was an opportunity to climb the ladder in hell and he never blinked twice, while Alastor saw a potential friend who he could mould and shape and help grow so that eventually he will be on his side. He will help him amass power and souls and money, so that maybe... just maybe one day he would be strong enough to fight the battle Alastor can't. And if Alastor just so happened to get Vox to fall in love with him? Even better. And if Vox just happened to hear from the grapevine that Alastor was using himthe entire time, but he doesn't find out WHY? Well, now wouldn't that be complicated and sad.
