The first two pages of Mullet Stan doodles. I did these to test my wrist pain and also just the creature (Stanley) possessed me once more.

I drew three pages.

I used a combo of these old brush pens I got gifted likeeeeeee three years ago? A dying blue highlight and some cheapo fine liners.

Image 4 is a very small Dr. Pinington + Drag Queen Stan as well. Should I tag Blank for this?? It's like the smallest doodle, but Dr. Pinington is by @babyblankyerror

Ideas and thoughts

Wendy - Skywing

- Wendy’s family consists of skywings that adapted to live in a climate with massive forests (hence her dappled appearance)

-her entire families fire breath is much weaker than regular skywings

- much more lithe in comparison to her family

- some of her markings resemble her canon flannel shirt

Soos - Mud/Sea

- his bioluminescent scales form question marks

- his “buck” teeth are actually mutated rainwing fangs from very distant rainwing ancestry

I kept Soos’ coloring pretty simple because I feel like it fit him, but drawing chubby dragons is my fav thing ever so I still had a blast. And skywings are always cool so Wendy was just as fun

Mystery twins dragon designs!

Ideas and thoughts:

Both - nightwings

- have jewelry that represents the other

- born under two full moons, powers are relatively strong and not connected to each other (unlike the stan twins)

-hatched from the same egg

Dipper

- markings resemble pine trees

- has many different constellation patterns but the most prominent is the Big Dipper on his forehead and wings

Mabel

- sparkly™

- big fan of giving herself accessories; stickers, jewelry, etc

I had the most trouble deciding their tribe. Originally it was going to be different than the Stan twins, but they are related and I felt it made the most sense, so here we are. But these are just concepts so they might change later lolll

Some stan twins dragon designs I’ve been cooking up

Ideas and thoughts I had:

Both - night/sea

- sea on Filbrick’s side/night on Caryn’s

- very faint nightwing tear scales, powers are weak and linked to each other

-hatched from the same egg

- have had matching earrings since they were very young

- both are relatively large compared to other dragons from their tribes

- coloring/markings got duller with age

Ford

- 6 large horns + six talons

- eyes were originally red (matching Stan’s coloring) but turned yellow after repeated possession from Bill

- small crown-like jewelry is enchanted by an animus to keep Bill out (in place of the metal plate)

Stan

- the purple in his pupil matches Ford’s coloring

- more constellation/star markings than Ford

Anyway, these designs are still kinda concepts so they’re a bit messy and I may change some things! I’m working on the rest of the cast rn too
