To the anon/gravity falls comparaison, I can totally see it. I imagine meeting Ivor to finally fight the Wither would go like this
Ivor : I have extra weapons from the Old order so take anything you want
Make Jesse : *grab a diamond sword*
Female Jesse : and I’ll have a…. CROSSBOW
Ivor : … wouldn’t you rather like, a sword or something ?
Female Jesse : C R O S S B O W
Ivor : fair enough

Lost and Found by SheWhoStealsKneecaps is a good fic I read a year ago, but it's unfinished.
Anyone got good MCSM fic recommendations? 🙏

i love them they make me so sad
I think one of the best things about dipcifica (both romantic and platonic) is just that neither of them have a clue about what the other person is like.
Like yeah, Dipper doesn't have any idea about modern fashion and other stuff Pacifica values but Pacifica doesn't know either.
And if they even decided to date, both of them are gonna struggle planning it. Dipper 'overthinking' pines for obvious reasons
and Pacifica cuz, what is she supposed to do? Most of what she knows isn't going to work with Dipper like it would with other people.
Is she supposed to plan a date in the supernatural black market? Do they even have restaurants like the mall does?? Can she even reserve a table???
And what is she supposed to wear? An alien outfit? Dipper like kissing aliens right? What fashion do aliens even have?!
Favorite friendship dynamic has got to be, “Villain grows to respect hero causing their worldview to change and eventually (probably as a result of hitting rock bottom) realize they were wrong and repent. Hero accepts this, offers their friendship, and helps the villain begin to grow as a person by directing them how to go about earning redemption and how to heal from whatever was making them do villain stuff before.”
This is how I see post season two Romeo and Jesse MCSM, Viggo Grimborn and Hiccup Haddock (if Viggo had lived) in How to Train Your Dragon: Race to the Edge, The Pines Twins and Pacifica from Gravity Falls, Zuko and the Gaang in ATLA, and my own two OCs, wish I knew more.
#if it WAS created by the train that means there might be an orb for reflections like there are for other denizens#and what happens if that orb gets bumped out of place?#and if it DOES exist independently from Train then that means lake was only classified as a denizen because they weren't a passenger#and it might have always existed outside of the train BECAUSE the train created it and retconned reality to make it always exist#no matter how you slice it the whole mirror world is both fascinating to think about and so incredibly messed up and thats why I love it#infinity train#infinity train mirror world
Gotta love this very messed up show
the question of if the mirror world really reflected the regular world or if it was a creation of the train is so fucked. i know lake ultimately decides it doesn't matter if their memories are false, because their life is in their own hands now. still, i was trying to decide which option is More fucked bc i knew that would be the one Owen Dennis etc would choose. but honestly they're both so dystopian and horrible i just don't know. like, option 1: oh great, everyone's existence is tied to puppeting an unwilling person who can't be saved in a world we can't reach. option 2: oh great, if you pass through the train's chrome car, you immediately create an autonomous person who remembers being puppeted their entire lives and are now still being heavily policed to support you even though they have great cause to despise you. yikes!
This links to a wheel with nearly a hundred fic tropes for plots, settings, and more. Spin it twice.
This could also work with art inspiration, but the buttons only allow for so many characters on them. And please do ramble in the tags! I'm going to have no idea what most of you are talking about, and it's going to be great.
Hey, I do the "grammar, Stanley" to my brother all the time! I was kinda disappointed when he didn't go "IT'S YOU" when we reached that part of the show ngl
Dear Gravity Falls fandom,
Do you really think the scientist who spent years building an interdimentional portal in his basement while also researching tons of anomalies, would wear a TRENCH COAT?? Well, here's my autistic ass's "Errmm, acshoeally, he wears a duster, not a trench coat.". Makes a lot more sense, right? RIGHT???
Sincerely,
A very autistic person who would totally pull a 'Grammar, Stanley' on their sibling lmao
*pats the chair next to me* hey sit down let's discuss how every place in the entire lost cities is somehow in the same time zone despite being scattered across the freaking earth
