There's times when a praise comes out easy and times when it takes all the strength I've got
“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Paul was writing to the Thessalonians, who were suffering and going through difficult circumstances. Yet, he told them to give thanks! In the midst of troubled seas, we can give thanks, because God's word says, “Weeping may remain for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5).
And, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." (Psalm 23:4).
Thank God that when others reject us, Jesus accepts us gladly, and never forsakes us. In all things there will be something for which we can praise and thank God for. When we can’t praise Him for what He has allowed in our lives, we can praise Him for who He is. Jesus will never fail us, therefore, give thanks!
‼️This call is for all of us‼️
Don’t just say you’re a Christian; behave like one. Represent Christ competently and faithfully in all things and to all people. Your witness to the world, and even other believers is leaving a greater impact than you think.
•1John 4:20- If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
•James 1:22- But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
•Romans 12:9-21// Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him;If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
