I’m Pharis a 28-year-old teacher from Gaza, I have battled Type 1 Diabetes since when I was 12years amidst a devastating crisis. With no job and an overwhelmed healthcare system, I cannot afford the $400 insulin that keeps me alive. I’ve always helped others when I was employed as a teacher before war took away our peace and happiness but now I also need help to survive.
