Hi Theamaus! I met you yesterday, and I practically devoured your blog, I LOVED your art, I would like to ask, what are your Headcanons for snapshots/bushpine?

I've made a post before with snapshot headcannons HERE but if you've already gone through all of it i'm guessing youve aldready seen it.

Haven't thought about it much lately (my minds been all blu team) but heres a few more for ya!

More bronisniper/snapshots headcannons:

Out of all Bronislavas family (aside from Heavy and Bronislava herself) Sniper gets along with Yana the best although her mother is a strong second, even if she thinks he's too skinny and could never kill a bear

Suddenly being part of a big family is kind of overwelming for him in the beginning, but it brings him closer with Medic who is also new to the Big Happy Family dynamic

Bronislava has lived alone with her mother and sisters for so many years shes forgotten what it is to live with a man

Sniper has lived alone or with a goup of men for so long he has no idea what its like to live with a woman

It's a learning experience for both

Bronislava cuts Snipers hair when it gets too long. Sniper loves it when she toutches his hair, so he often allows her to braid it

Sniper gradually comes to love russian food and prefers it over anything else. Because of this he begins to gain some much needed weight

They shower together. Bronislava is used to either having to bathe one right after the other or together to save hot water and Sniper likes the closeness

Bronislava has periods with night terrors from her time in the Gulag. She doesn't really remember it, but boy does her subcontious. Sniper doesn't know what to do, but after some advice from Medic (Heavy has them too) they learn how to deal with it together

Hey Celina! I just wanted to know your opinions on the crabs? Like, what do you think of em? And also,

What’s your day to day like? Like how do you get around when it comes to borrowing?

🧣: My day...hm..I steal necessary things like food or materials from both teams, but I started doing it less to RED team after I meet others... I don't really like interacting with those red idiots. I tend to stay far away from them, try to not get spotted. They are dangerous psychopaths after all, mercenaries hired to kill! Others might trust them, but I never saw them do anything worth trusting. In my free time I sew, sometimes cook, destroy that workshop of this "yewha" cowboy a$$hole and disabled mouse traps they set up around the base.

Her opinion on/and relationship with each member:

🧣🍬Celina and Kandy: Li doesn't mind her presence. She sometimes finds Kandy lost around the base and takes her back to her family members. Li might sew something for her, like little hat or small flower pattern on her dress. She generally sees Kandy as a harmless little crab, around which she does not need to keep her guard up at all times. She trust her enough to let her give hugs (she just need to be careful with the spikes). When returning her to other she will give them the look, before saying goodbye to Kandy with gentle smile.

🧣🇫🇷 Celina and Coralie: Celina is suspicious about her, and keeps her distance while talking to her. She only heard about spycrabs, never saw one, so at first she won't be so trustworthy. Give her time, and she'll warm up to her. Might even give her a gift. If Coralie decides to brags about her achievements and her courage in Li's presence, then ohhh boy, she better be ready to hear: "Alright. Show me." before dragging her to BLU base, telling her to steal something from them, as she watches from a distance. Hope Coralie is good with excuses if she wants to get out of this.

🧣✨️Celina and Brother A: She cannot believe by what miracles this little crab is still alive. He made her almost get caught many times, which she doesn't appreciate. Li quickly loses patience around troublemakers, so she will just pick him up, put him in a box and carry him all the way back to his fellow crabs. I imagine their dynamic to be: "A lucky as heck child and that one adult friend who was tasked with looking after them and ends up in a wacky situations trying to save them."

🧣⚰️Celina and Sister A:

Sis A: "Giants are nothing but the scum of sin. For they crave the taste of pure flesh."

Li: ...

Sis A: ...

Li: I like her

I think Celina would be on cool with Sister A. Both don't talk much, they just nod or make "hm" sound at each other in acknowledgement. At beginning Li thinks Sis A is a bit... crepy. Her appearance alone will put Li on high alert, and she won't stop viewing her as potential threat, she'll just tolerate her more.

🧣🦞 Celina and Crimson: Celina doesn't like when someone in the room is bigger than her, so she might be rude to her at first. Over time, after seeing Crimson protecting her friends, she will acquire respect for her. Li won't go bother her, or her family, she'll keep her distance, understanding the boundaries. The Mother Duo. They respect, but not very like each other.

Alright! Time for me to break my fingers and overanalyze my own characters :D Kandy🍬 & Celina🧣 Kandy is stuck to Celina like glue. Ever since Li first interacted with her, which was just her returning her to Crimson, Kandy had grown an attachment, like how a baby duck imprints on the first thing they see. If Kandy sees Li across the room, she will waddle her way over to her, even if she doesn't realize she could end up being seen or, worse, squished. Her favorite part about Li would oddly be her hair, as she would just like how fluffy it looks. Kandy would sometimes even draw for Celina, whether that be pictures of Li herself or even just objects she's seen. Kandy loves to hug but always forgets her spikes, so that's sometimes a bit of an ouchie. The only thing she would dislike would be whenever Li would have to go. She'd sob a little bit, not a full-out tantrum, but just a slight sniffle. If Li were to knit Kandy anything, Kandy would be seen holding onto it in her sleep the next day. She's just a little baby after all, and she doesn't know the real dangers of the world. Coralie💙 & Celina🧣 Oof, boy. Where to start? Coralie would be secretly jealous of Celina since she has extremely low self-esteem (SHUT UP NO I DON'T! STOP SPREADING LIES!) So she would do all kinds of things to try and "one-up" her. Coralie would also most likely chat up a storm as well. Always telling her made-up stories on how she went on epic borrowing journeys. But they were anything but. If Celina were to give Coralie a gift, Coralie would accept the gift but then go on about, "Oh! You shouldn't have! Really, you shouldn't! I have 20 of these!" But next thing you know, she treasures that gift like it's her life. BUT OH. IF CELINA DOES THE WHOLE "Alright. Show me" whenever Coralie starts to go off about her courage. Coralie would just be like

Anthropophobia at its finest. Brother Arañito 😈 & Celina🧣 Oof. And here I thought Coralie's and Celina's interaction would be kind of rough! Arañito loves pulling pranks on anybody, and I mean ANYBODY. So Li would be on the pranking list. And it would usually end with either one of them going through a near-death experience. Due to him being only 10, he would be seen more as an annoying cousin. But don't get it twisted; at the end of the day, Arañito is just a kid who wants the world to be a bit more silly and less "we're all going to die." And the whole "a lucky as heck child and that one adult friend who was tasked with looking after them and ends up in a wacky situation trying to save them" that you mentioned in my ask? Yup. SUMS IT UP. LMAO. But in the end, Arañito secretly does think Li is pretty badass. He would even prank BLU Sniper by hiding his jar lids and tell Li about it, trying to get her to laugh. Sister Araignée ⚰️& Celina🧣 Human haters.

Sister Araignée would probably meet Celina in the middle of one of her massacres. Since Sister Araignée is the most violent out of all of the family members (right next to Crimson), sometimes in a sort of sick and weird way of thanking Li for looking after her brother, she'd give her some human teeth she ripped out of some poor bastard's mouth. Li has every freakin' right to think Sister Araignée is creepy looking...because she is creepy. Like, genuinely. She is...eugh. I mean... at least Sister Araignée wouldn't want to rip Li's skin off if her brother likes her. Sister Araignée would barely talk to her but whenever she would, it'd be the most unpredictable moments...like imagine Celina trying to get through the walls of the base and she just hears, "𝔅𝔢𝔩𝔩𝔢 𝔰𝔬𝔦𝔯é𝔢 𝔫'𝔢𝔰𝔱-𝔠𝔢 𝔭𝔞𝔰 ?" right behind her out of nowhere- Sister Araignée would obviously notice how off-put Li would be at first, so she'd keep her distance. But if she sees BLU Sniper making a slight comment to Li? ... HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boy. I hope BLU Medic doesn't mind having to repair a broken nose...and teeth. Crimson 🦞 & Celina🧣 "..." "..." "..." "...You're interesting." 🦞 "...Um...thanks." 🧣 Yeah, surprise, Crimson is actually extremely socially awkward. She doesn't really know what to say in the moment, especially to someone that had the somewhat main mindset as her, with the whole mother feel. Crimson would obviously see that Celina doesn't really trust her at first and be a little rude at first, but Crimson would understand it. But as Crimson would show Celina more that they aren't that different, I'd like to think they'd chat about their past experiences over a bottle cap of wine. Crimson would tell Celina her stories about her whole voyage life before she ended up on the grounds of TeuFort. If Li needs a favor, Crimson wouldn't mind fulfilling it, since she looked out for the young ones of her family. So Crimson would also look out for anyone that Li cared about as well. Lyle would slowly lower their guard and calm down. But then Lyle would then go on about how "technology is the best way to combat against the humans!" And even show off the many machines they've made out of scrap metal and destroyed bits of the robot mercs. Lyle would then go on about all kinds of ramblings about technology, which Citrus would have to come in and smack the back of their head in order for them to shut up. But if Lyle were to find out Li interacted with ANY of the humans, OOOH BOY. They'd immediately quarantine themselves or even just stray away. 🧠 "DON'T YOU KNOW THEY CAN SMELL EACH OTHER FROM MILES AWAY!? YOU MIGHT BE LURING ONE HERE RIGHT NOW!!!"

The Autism Is Making Me Measure Things Again

Hands. Let's go.

So, to start off, you might be wondering: How can we actually get accurate measurements of the characters and the objects that we're comparing to them?

Blender gives you a real-world measurement for your objects, which is so damn nice. Having worked in Unity and a few other game engines, I always found it super frustrating when a game engine refused to use real-world measurements, and just used its own vague definition of 'units' instead.

So, let's see how tall the hisanimations Ludwig port is...

Oh, shit, he imports at 27.3 feet tall. Yeah that's a little inaccurate. It's interesting to note that the hisanimations map ports are also sized by these proportions, which makes those maps fucking huge. But the maps and the characters can go together without needing any resizing, so it works.

But not for our purposes right now. We need Ludwig to be about 6'1", his canon height. That's the size of that gray plane I've put in the lower left of that image there. (Don't worry, I also include metric measurements from here on.)

Fortunately, there's an easy fix for this - just scale him down until he's as tall as the plane.

So now he's the size that we need him to be. And now we can see how big his hands really are.

You didn't think I wasn't gonna bring the BIG MAN to this party, did you?

Note that here, the Y axis is the height (or length, if you prefer), but on some of the objects we'll be looking at, the height is actually going to be the Z axis. It's due to mismatched standards between different engines. Anyway.
