I’m tired, can’t think of anything and want only to lay my face in your lap, feel your hand on my head and remain like that through all eternity.

If we’re getting an audiobook, does that mean I can finally have the Great Riko Roast™️ as my ringtone and my alarm and my text tone and my
I just finished reading Kings Rising - oh boy!! But I read it on my kindle and now on the internet I hear about a chapter 19.5. Are these the same as the short stories???
[LONG HIGH-PITCHED GASP OF REVERENCE]
NO! it is NOT the same as the short stories!!! The Infamous Chapter 19 And A Half was a bonus chapter at the end of the Prince’s Gambit paperback (there’s also one in the Captive Prince paperback called The Training of Erasmus, which is about – you guessed it – the training of Erasmus). it’s basically just an extra scene at the end of chapter 19, which doesn’t SOUND like much, BUT GO BACK AND CHECK WHAT CHAPTER CHAPTER 19 IS.
I originally read the first two books on my kindle so I didn’t have The Infamous Chapter 19 And A Half, either. blessedly, the glorious and ever enabling @camp-four happily took photographs of every individual page and text them all to me, in order. I still have them all in an album on my phone. sometimes I read it before I go to sleep in order to have sweet dreams and wake up refreshed and buoyed by the knowledge that true and good love is real and it’s out there.

ok so the only official arcana merch are some 40$ posters that are all sold out and some stickers. i mean i understand that the posters were limited edition, but i think they could make some more if we ask for it????? tbh 40$ is a lot, so how about some cheaper, tiny posters 👀?
the stickers are the only actual things available, but the only ones they sell are the side character’s stickers…and it seems to me like it’s not gonna change.
i actually really want some arcana merch!! i think the whole fandom does. how about they make some plushies? figurines? keychains? shirts? i would pretty much buy any of it. ive never really seen anyone talking about this so thats why there isn’t any…
if you agree - reblog, so that more arcana fans will see this and actually make the lack of merch a problem???? idk i just want to support the creators. i really hope they see this and consider making it a thing :)
A lot of people ask me what my biggest fear is, or what scares me most. And I know they expect an answer like heights, or closed spaces, or people dressed like animals, but how do I tell them that when I was 17 I took a class called Relationships For Life and I learned that most people fall out of love for the same reasons they fell in it. That their lover’s once endearing stubbornness has now become refusal to compromise and their one track mind is now immaturity and their bad habits that you once adored is now money down the drain. Their spontaneity becomes reckless and irresponsible and their feet up on your dash is no longer sexy, just another distraction in your busy life. Nothing saddens and scares me like the thought that I can become ugly to someone who once thought all the stars were in my eyes.
My biggest question from The Raven King is how did Riko dye Neil’s hair back to his natural color?
Did he un-dye it? Is that a thing? Does Riko know the secret for getting cheap bottle black hair dye out?
Did he take him to a beauty supply store and sort through the hair dye until they found the correct shade? Did they consult with one of the employees about how to cover up dyed black hair with auburn? Seems fake but okay.
It just doesn’t make any sense. Neil’s hair would be a mess. Like a teenager having their first identity crises mess.
Matt seeing Neil for the first time after getting back from winter break: “I know coach said not to say anything, but damn did you stop by a beauty school for the blind on your way back?”
Andrew as their on the roof after getting back from Easthaven: “I don’t know what the fuck is going on with your hair, but thanks for stomping out the ridiculous crush I was harboring on you.”
So I’ve been listening to podcasts again and I wish someone had done this for me when I started out, so let’s sum up and describe some podcasts, shall we?
The Magnus Archives - Jonathan Sims, newly instated Head Archivist at the Magnus Institute, London, is trying to sort through statements of people that claim to have had all kinds of supernatural encounters, while only having a taperecorder to do so, because for some reason, the statements won’t let themselves be recorded on anything else. But I’m sure it’s nothing, right? Supernatural Horror at it’s finest, with incredible characters and worldbuilding. 200 episodes.
Welcome to Nightvale - An incredibly cryptic podcast, set in the fictional town of Nightvale, where all the conspiracy theories are true. Listen to Cecil Palmer, the host of Nightvale Community Radio talk about the happenings in the town, his day and that strange, beautiful new scientist that has come to town. Over 200 episodes, ongoing.
Wolf 359 - Communication Officer Doug Eiffels log of the USS Hepaestus’ journey, observing the red dwarf wolf 359. Twists and turns, some expected, some most definitely not, all in all a good time for all podcast fans. 61 episodes.
The Strorage Papers - Unsetteling horror stories, found in a storage lot, unraveling faster that a ball of yarn. Can you keep up? And, perhaps the more important question: Can you keep it together? Carefully crafted stories that make you lock your doors twice. 104 episodes, ongoing.
The Penumbra Podcast - The space noir tales of Private I, Detective Juno Steel and his adventures on planet mars. A podcast so mysterious and casually queer, it’s almost addictive. Although their phonecall noise sounds like my alarmclock, the sound design, characters, storytelling and worldbuilding are unlike anything I’ve ever come across. 4 seasons with about 20 episodes.
Camp Here and There - Camp Nurse Sidneys recordings of her daily announcements. If you’re a fan of Gravity Falls, this is that next summer you’ve been waiting for. 34 episodes for now, possibly ongoing, possibly not.
This is it for now, I’ll be adding on when I can. I hope this’ll help someone… or not.
