Jared carrying Jensen in various Supernatural gag reels (◡‿◡✿)
This video is honestly amazing and is something I’ve been saying for years 🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️ thank you for posting this

This video shows so much of why I hate Dean a lot and don't understand how people actually think he's this great guy. Like I really don't get how people like him unless their seeing him as an antagonist. It just makes no sense. The begining shows how sexist he is from the beginning of the show and yet people call him a feminist? He constantly abuses sam and Castiel and yet people glorify those relationships? Like how?
The things I would do to be able to write so eloquently and beautifully
To express how much Sam means to me and his story
there's literally no reason the spn reactions are always dean, not on sammy sunday you guys, not on my watch
What would be Jared's and Jensen's perfect heaven?
I wanted to talk about this video because it has some things that I love:
Jared:
"Being around friends and family and loved ones... Hopefully in the mountains somewhere, maybe skiing"
"Just being free to love and support everyone around me and vice versa"
Freedom (Definition): the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants).
Wait, last time I checked Jared was married, happily and publicly, why can't he love the way he wants? Isn't he supposed to already do it?
Maybe it has something to do with the way you look at your friend? Like if you want to kiss him in front of everyone? Maybe...
"You know there's a lot of sort of strife lately, obviously, with everybody...It's a tough spot right now, you know, people loosing their jobs, people being out of work, loosing homes, loosing the ability to mortgage, loosing loved ones...It's becomes such a boiling pot where people want to lash out because they are hurting and that's understandable, they are hurting and that sucks. But I'm always happiest substantially when they just can be let's try and focus on positive because I believe when I focus on the negative I get into the bad place too. So just focus on positive and loving those around you, sounds like heaven"
The covid thing had nothing to do with the heaven thing but he brought it out, I dont know why, but the important part is the last quote. "So just focus on positive and loving those around you, sounds like heaven."
Again he remarks "it sounds like", so he doesn't know what it's like to have that in real life. Suspicious for a man with a perfect marriage.
Jensen:
"Water park"
They make jokes about Jensen's answer but the important thing in my opinion is the last part of this video.
"The rollercoaster, you know, that moment when you go chichichichi, right there, that's where I want to be, after the clicking, before the drop...Heaven"
Do you know that he had already used the metaphor of the roller coaster? Do you know who his roller coaster is? Yes, Jared, his relationship with Jared.
So if Heaven=roller coaster / Relationship with Jared=roller coaster -> Heaven=Jared
this is by fucking far the best edit i have ever seen. it takes such a beautiful and heart-wrenching moment and makes it even more painful
it's gorgeously done and i honestly will never stop watching it. it legit makes me crying every single damn time
Why is it that non-Wincest posts or like fanfics are more shippy than the actual Wincest posts/fics
It's been a while since I watched Supernatural, so don't take my opinions as gospel or anything. But I think Dean is self-hating to the point of narcissism in some ways. Don't get me wrong, I empathise with Dean and understand why fans largely do too. But his self-loathing warps his perception and becomes the centre of EVERYTHING and at times that really has ripple effects on those around him - particularly Sam.
Take their childhood, Sam has a right to mourn the fact that he didn't get a normal childhood. He's allowed to be angry that he didn't get a home, a present father, a stable community, and consistent education. But whenever Sam attempts to express his complicated feelings about his childhood, Dean immediately interprets it as ' oh I was supposed to look out for you. Are you saying I failed? Are you confirming I'm worthless?' which grinds the conversation to a complete halt. Because of Dean's intense self-criticism, Sam can never really be 100% honest with him or ask for support with his own issues, especially regarding their childhood. As anything outside of 100% gratitude just becomes another stick for Dean to beat himself with, and the conversation is immediately derailed.
Not only does Deans self-hatred mean that Sam's expression of his own experiences are pretty consistently shut down. In some ways, I think Dean strips Sam of his autonomy - he's so self-loathing, he sees every decision Sam makes as being about/a reaction to him. A good example of this is Stanford. Rather than understanding Stanford for what it was, an attempt by Sam to carve out a better life from himself and escape hunting. Dean views it as betrayal or abandonment, some re-affirmation of his own belief that he's not worth caring about. Rather than understanding it's a rejection of hunting, he sees it as Sam rejecting him. To Dean, Sam isn't attempting to find a better life, he's punishing the family.
Overall, it's interesting that people largely and rightfully sympathise with Dean due to his self-hatred. However, I don't see as much discussion about how his self-hatred doesn't just hurt him, it hurts those he's close to, as it colours his interpretation of their every action. Dean's self-loathing is always the biggest thing in the room and that has consequences.
Sam's dimples: reblog if you agree.
