Hope in the Face of Adversity: Supporting Hani to Rebuild His Life πποΈ
Hello, I am Hani π«
I am a 26-year-old young man from Gaza. The war destroyed everything I held dear; I lost my home ποΈ, my job πΌ, my car π, and most painfully, I lost members of my extended family. Today, I live in a tent with my younger siblings, while my father, who is unable to work, and my sick mother suffer from serious health conditions π₯.
Every day, I face bitter challenges; from securing food π and medicine π for my siblings to dealing with their daily fears. My father, who was once our source of strength πͺ, is no longer able to work, and my mother requires constant medical care due to her chronic illness π©Ί. In this situation, I try to be the only hope for my family, but I am in desperate need of your help π€.
I am writing to you today because we are in a critical moment. We urgently need your support to get through this crisis π¨. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference in our lives π± and can be the lifeline we need to survive this dark situation π.

i would be soooooo powerful if i wasn't so deeply afraid of people and places and also things
israel's invasion of jenin is so aggressive and inhumane that it speaks volumes how underreported it is in mainstream media. blocking aid from the refugee camps (classic starvation tactic), displacing at least 20 families in the last 24 hours alone, and now setting fire to jenin's market. they are razing streets with bulldozers. people are left without electricity, food, or water. and now they're targeting ambulances and medical staff without even trying to pretend it's erroneous or they're just terrorists. this is what complete impunity looks like
Please do not leave us alone. Donate even a small amount of money
We are dying every day. Not a day comes without mentioning the martyr. The world cannot help us live a better life. Please help us. I want to get my family out of Gaza and live a better life than this. I want to eat healthy, live in a clean house, and learn. And to complete my university studiesππππππ»ππ»
The donation campaign is increasing, but it is very weak. I ask you to publish it and circulate it to all your friendsππ»π

This elderly woman was one of the leaders of demonstrations against the Vietnam War in 1968, when she was a student at Columbia University. Today, 56 years later, she returns to the same place and says, "Palestine must be free."
Help my life and my future
Welcome My name is Lina. I am 21 years old. I live in my beautiful city of Khan Yunis. I lived my best days there. I had hopes and dreams that I was striving to achieve. I had my beautiful university that built my dreams and I wanted to establish my life with my successes in it until the war began on the 7th of October and our lives were turned upside down. We were displaced from our homes on the 23rd of January, and here our journey began, our torment in the tents, as we were displaced in the winter, and the rain was drowning us and making us wet day and night. We lived with 9 people in one tent with an area of ββ3 in length and 3 and a half in width. It is very narrow because my family is large and we are I do not have the financial capacity to buy a new, larger tent. We remained in the torment of the rain and drowned in the tent until the summer season began and our new journey of torment began with the heat, the chub, the insects and the poisonous snakes.
I was exposed to many diseases during this period to the point that I wished for death from the severity of pain and illness. Throughout this period we had hope of returning to our homes until news came to us that the Israeli occupation had bombed and bulldozed our house, and here despair prevailed and misery and sadness took over us. How could it not, when I had I lost the house that contains my memories, my dreams, my clothes, and my books, and I lost my university, which has always been my second home and a source of my hopes and dreams. Nothing can describe the amount of my pain. Please help me rebuild our house so that our journey of suffering will end and so that I can travel outside Gaza and complete study my university education. Build a decent life for meπππ

This is Alia and her son Yasser. Yasser, his mother, his 3 siblings, and his grandparents were displaced from north Gaza after their home was destroyed by the occupation several months ago. They are currently in Rafah, which is now under heavy bombardment by the occupation, and ground forces are closing in.
Alia, Yasser, and their family have been struggling with hunger and sickness for months. Now, the occupation has illegally launched an aerial and ground offensive on Rafah.
As part of this attack, they bombed the place where Alia, Yasser, and their family were sheltering. A chunk of shrapnel pierced the thin wall of the tent in which all 7 family members are living and struck Yasser in the torso, seriously injuring him. He had to have major emergency surgery to remove the shrapnel from his small body.
Photo 1 shows where the shrapnel entered the tent, photo 2 shows where Yasser was struck, and photo 3 shows the piece of shrapnel after field surgeons recovered it from his torso.
Due to the destruction of Gazaβs infrastructure and the worsened food crisis, Yasserβs recovery is heavily stymied. Medical infrastructure in Gaza has been almost completely destroyed, and the last functioning medical centers in Rafah are operating at minimal capacity. Yasser cannot get the treatment he needs, and he is in poor condition.
Alia, Yasser, Aliaβs other children, and her parents are trying to evacuate Gaza so that they can reach safety and Yasser can get the treatment he needs.
Rafah Crossing is still closed, but once it reopens, we want Alia, Yasser, and their family to evacuate. However, they are still very far behind their goal.
Please help this family find safety. If you cannot support them directly, please reblog this post, and repost this link (https://gofund.me/328c6d35) across your social media accounts.
Alia provided a full breakdown of costs on the campaign page.
Thank you
Trump is appointing three washed-up actors as "ambassador to Hollywood" in order to bring back the "Golden Age of Hollywood". Which has historical precedent: there was an ambassador to Hollywood in the Golden Age, too. His name was Georg Gyssling and he was sent by Hitler to monitor the activities of Hollywood studios. To make sure their films didn't say anything anti-Nazi, resulting in many attempts at anti-fascist films being shut down by the Hays Code. Just a fun historical Hollywood fact there
