đ A Cozy Fall Day - Cedianđ
In the heart of Enchancia, autumn had painted the land with hues of gold, amber, and rich crimson. The trees stood tall and proud, their leaves rustling in the crisp breeze, while a scattering of pumpkins adorned the paths, celebrating the harvest season. Cedric, usually more focused on perfecting his spells than on seasonal festivities, found himself wandering the palace grounds with Princess Vivian. She had invited him to join her for a quiet day outside, sensing that he could use a break from his usual routine.
As they walked, the vibrant foliage crunched underfoot, the delightful sound mingling with the distant laughter of children enjoying the crisp autumn air. Vivian, her cheeks rosy from the chill, paused by a patch of wildflowers that somehow thrived in the fall weather. She bent down, plucking a few delicate blooms and holding them up to Cedric with a twinkle in her eye.
âLook at these! Theyâre so beautiful,â she exclaimed, her voice bright with joy. Cedric admired the small bouquet in her hands, noting how her spirit seemed to light up the entire day.
âThey are indeed lovely, Princess,â he replied, his usual stoic demeanor softening. âThough I must admit, Iâm not sure how they manage to bloom in this weather.â
Vivian giggled, her laughter ringing like music through the air. âMaybe theyâre enchanted! Just like you!â She teased, nudging him playfully. Cedric chuckled, shaking his head. âIâm more known for my mishaps than my enchantments, I assure you.â They continued their stroll, and as they approached a cozy gazebo adorned with garlands of colorful leaves, Cedric spotted a small table set for two, complete with steaming mugs and a woven basket. Vivian had clearly planned this moment with care.
âWould you like to sit by the fire and try some cider?â she asked, motioning to the setup sheâd prepared earlier. The fireplace crackled softly, flames dancing invitingly. Cedric raised an eyebrow, half-smiling. âI suppose a brief pause wouldnât hurt.â As they settled into the gazebo, Cedric couldnât help but appreciate the warm glow of the fire that lit up Vivianâs face. She handed him a mug of warm cider, the sweet scent of apples and spices wafting into the air. âCheers!â Vivian said, raising her mug, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Cedric clinked his mug against hers, the simple gesture feeling profound in the tranquil atmosphere. They sipped their cider, enjoying the comforting warmth it brought. The moment wrapped around them like a soft blanket, the outside world fading away. Vivian, her curls catching the firelight, leaned back against the gazeboâs wooden frame, looking content and at ease.
âDo you remember the last time we had cider together?â she asked, her gaze distant as she recalled their previous adventures. Cedric chuckled softly, a fond smile spreading across his face. âYes, it involved a spell gone awry and an overabundance of whipped cream.â He shook his head in disbelief. âYou still owe me for that!â
Vivian laughed, her eyes glinting mischievously. âOnly because you made me try to create an apple pie with magic! How was I supposed to know it would explode?â
Their laughter mingled with the gentle crackling of the fire, a perfect harmony that brought Cedric a rare sense of peace. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a warm, golden glow around them, Cedric turned slightly serious.
âThank you, Vivian,â he murmured, his voice softer. âFor this. For reminding me that thereâs more to life than magic and mischief.â
Vivianâs smile deepened, and she reached for his hand, her fingers gentle but steady. âAnytime, Cedric. Itâs nice to just enjoy a moment together without any grand adventures or chaos.â
As they held hands, the warmth of her touch sent a comforting rush through Cedric. They sat in silence for a moment, the world around them a beautiful blur. He glanced at her, really looked at herâthe way the light danced in her eyes and how her smile could chase away even the darkest of thoughts. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew through the gazebo, sending a flurry of leaves swirling around them. Cedric instinctively stood, his eyes widening in surprise as he raised his arms to shield Vivian from the sudden gust.
âWatch out!â he called, laughter bubbling up despite himself. Vivian squealed in delight, spinning in circles as the leaves swirled around her, her laughter infectious. âCedric! Look at this!â She twirled, the leaves catching in her hair, turning her into a whimsical autumn fairy. Cedric couldnât help but laugh, his heart swelling at the sight of her unrestrained joy. âYou look like a walking fall festival!â he teased.
âMaybe I should enter a leaf dance competition!â she replied, still giggling as she collapsed onto the soft grass, her laughter echoing in the crisp air. Cedric knelt beside her, their laughter settling into a comfortable rhythm. âI think youâd win first prize,â he said, his tone light. Vivian looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with mischief. âOnly if you promise to be my partner! We can do a duet!â
âNow that would be a spectacle,â Cedric replied, raising an eyebrow. âBut Iâm not sure the kingdom is ready for that level of chaos.â
As the sun began to set, casting a warm orange glow across the horizon, Cedric and Vivian continued to talk and laugh, sharing stories of their adventures and dreams for the future. The air was filled with the sweet scent of apples and spices, and for the first time in a long time, Cedric felt truly at peace. As the last rays of sunlight disappeared behind the trees, Vivian leaned her head against Cedricâs shoulder, sighing contentedly. âThank you for spending this day with me. Itâs been perfect.â
Cedric smiled, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. âThe pleasure is all mine, Princess. Itâs moments like these that make me realize how lucky I am.â
The fire crackled softly as they sat together, the warmth of the flames and each otherâs presence creating a magical cocoon against the chill of the evening. Cedric knew that no spell or magic could compare to the warmth he felt beside Vivian, a bond that went beyond the ordinaryâa friendship, a partnership, and perhaps something even deeper. As the stars began to twinkle overhead, Cedric felt a sense of hope for the future, knowing that whatever adventures awaited them, they would face them together.

I've got a friend that's fallen hard for Arlecchino, so I'll request an ask for S/O accidentally calling her "Daddy"
If someone already requested something like this with Arlecchino, please respond and say so, because that would honestly be funny
As suggestive as the nickname is, Arlecchino actually has zero idea of S/O is talking about.
She already struggles trying to understand the words being used by the children at the orphanage.
And when Arlecchino hears S/O's intrusive thoughts let loose, she simply looks at them, expression barely changed.
After all, she's called "Father", and has had several of the kids call her daddy as well. It's not that weird for S/O to do the same.
...Right?
(Arlecchino) "Yes? What is it?"
She quickly realizes how red S/O is turning, and can't help but feel confused.
They didn't look or feel sick, so what was the matter?
(S/O) "S-Sorry, I didn't mean to call you that!"
(Arlecchino) "What is wrong with calling me daddy?"
S/O nearly choked on their own spit when they heard Arlecchino's question, making her even more confused.
Maybe she should ask Lyney next chance she got...
By the way, did you know Arlecchino canonically struggles with understanding the slang her kids say? Just like a real dad.
I'm so proud of all of you.
