then they both fly around the house to find Bruce's glasses.

Bruce is currently (trying) to make some pancakes, and the kitchen is a huge mess.

Birdflash's son: Uh. I take it back, Grandpa, two pancakes are enough for me, not ten.

Dukeizzy's daughter: We could have helped you, Grandpa. Now, Great Grandpa Alfie will not be happy.

Bruce, turns to his grandkids who are by the door: He's going to kick our butts, huh?

Bruce: Well, how about some pizza?

Birdflash's son: I'll buy, I'll buy!

Dukeizzy's daughter: Take me, please.

Bruce, hands them money: Be careful, okay?

but they're gone already by the time Bruce blinks.

it's basically just Batman with a young speester wearing a Kid Flash suit but with Nightwing's domino mask, Lian in a Speedy suit, Tim and Kon's son in a Superboy suit, Steph and Cass' daughter in a Batgirl suit, Duke and Izzy's daughter and Damian and Jon's son in Robin suits.

and it's just all of them enjoying some Batburgers while their parents are lurking behind the shadows to witness the scene.

It’s tragic how Ness is extremely blinded by his devotion to Kaiser, while Kaiser just calls him trash…

Yes, I am aware Ness has issues, and I know he needs to be stopped. But of all people, Kaiser is the one person who has no right to do that. Everything Ness has done has been for him, and he’s progressed to this point today because Kaiser has been complicit with him.

You’d think Ness would just bark at anyone if Kaiser hadn’t encouraged it in the beginning?

Ness just goes with whatever Kaiser says. He is Kaiser’s biggest supporter. His biggest cheerleader. He is Kaiser’s tool. Kaiser’s shield. But he also wants Kaiser to acknowledge him. He wants Kaiser to look at him. Really look at him. He’d let Kaiser boss him around. He’d let Kaiser grab his hair even if it hurts. He’d let Kaiser throw that drink in his face. Even if just for a momentary glance from him.

But whatever he does is never enough. Because to Kaiser, Ness is nothing more than his servant.

And then comes Isagi, who captures Kaiser’s attention the way Ness has never had.

How could Ness not be jealous? How could Ness not be mad?

He has let himself be abused by the god he worships, only to have that god fancy a sinner.

At this point, Ness has every right to go apeshit.

Ness is such an amazing midfielder that any other striker would be grateful to have him. But Kaiser just takes him for granted.

The latest chapter was heartbreaking.

Because even after this...

Ness still looks at Kaiser with stars in his eyes...

Let Ness be trampled by any other character, but if Kaiser makes one more move against him, I’m gonna fucking lose it.

James: *reaches out to Regulus for a kiss*

You know, the move that uses the HEART as a centre, the one he developed to counter and SAVE his brother. To elevate his father’s technique into something else that’s truly his own. 

Something to affirm his identity and goal.

AU of the Wayne family history. At the batkids’ insistence, Alfred finally agreed to read them an old, leather-bound book he’d been holding—a memoir of the very first Wayne.

Clearing his throat, Alfred began in his usual calm, measured tone. "Long ago, a celestial being descended from the heavens, landing in a field owned by a struggling farmer. The celestial arrived in a dazzling ship, unlike anything seen on Earth. But the farmer, desperate to survive, dismantled the ship and sold its parts, making himself a fortune. When the celestial discovered what had happened, he was furious and sought out the farmer to demand justice."

The kids leaned in, totally hooked.

Alfred continued, "The farmer, terrified, begged for forgiveness. He promised that one day, his descendant would marry the celestial's firstborn child to atone for his crime. The celestial, after much thought, relented. He gifted the farmer the rest of the ship as dowry. From that moment on, the Wayne family flourished, their wealth growing beyond imagination."

Bruce, who’d been half-listening while skimming through some files on genetic engineering from the Fortress of Solitude, snorted. "Someone clearly had quite an imagination."

Without saying a word, Alfred flipped the book around and held it up for Bruce to see. The smirk faded from Bruce’s face as his eyes landed on the page. There, drawn in faded ink, was a detailed sketch of the ship… emblazoned with a symbol Bruce recognized immediately.

Alfred straightened, his tone subdued. "It would seem, Master Bruce, that the promise made to Jor-El must now be honored, given that his firstborn son has arrived on Earth."

Bruce froze. He recalled the Fortress’ eccentric behavior toward him and broke out in cold sweat.
