Hi Tumblr! First post here! I got all nostalgic about old DeviantArt where you could actually engage with a living community. Right now I'm only posting my art on Instagram, and I felt like I wanted someplace more personal, and I hope that Tumblr could be that? Idk.

Here's some Heartstopper fan art that I made after binge watching the new season. It has been my favorite series since the first season, but I feel like it has only gotten better and better. I relate a lot to Charlie, and I felt so proud of him (and myself) watching this season 🥰

Tried to focus on just having fun painting this. Traced the outlines as I can't do realistic anatomy at all, and then spent hours just painting the flowers and things 🥰 I'm trying to not overwork my paintings and stop when they no longer feel as fun, not when they feel "perfect", and with this piece I can see so many things that I'm happy to not be fixing right now 😁

I know it’s not hard to point out reactionaries hypocrisy when it comes to like safe spaces or hug boxes or whatever but genuinely how much of an echo chamber do you have to exist in for you to think this is a reasonable thing to say
