Rainbow High dolls that we totally should have gotten
A doll with a prosthetic leg
I still don’t understand why they had this option and didn’t use it (cough cough Michelle)
it would be amazing to see and could be shown off with an asymmetrical skirt, similar to what monster high is doing with showing off Frankies leg but make it cuter
Her prosthetic would be functional and fashionable, I would love if she was inspired by Xiao Yang and YVMIN, iirc I remember seeing someone make a custom version of a prosthetic for their rh doll but I can’t seem to find it (if anyone knows what I’m talking about please tell me!) edit: thank you to @dollelujah and @toastydoll for sending me the doll with the prosthetic made by caapdoll on Twitter/X
A doll in a wheelchair
Her wheelchair would match her outfit and she would decorate her wheels to coordinate!
She would have a skirt, not too long that it would possibly get caught in the wheels, but also not too short that it wouldn’t cover anything (seriously rainbow high dolls are so exposed when they sit, also pants don’t work when the dolls sit)
adisabledicon on instagram is exactly what her username says! She honestly already reminds me of a fashion doll it would be amazing to see her style and mobility aids as a doll
This is unfortunately so me...sorry no one is safe
My boyfriend had the idea of slime girls in mason jars, onaholes for the horny adventurer on the go. I think it sounds cute!! Small slimes…
My cishet straight man roommate: “I’m a *philosopher*. I have absurdly high standards for all art. I’m a manic pixie poet photographer who listens to Death Grips religiously. I don’t even watch video essays without critiquing them like Scorsese. Genre fiction isn’t art, only high art is art. Sabrina Carpenter isn’t a real artist, BTW; not like the Beatles.”
Also my roommate: “Haliey Welch is legitimately a postmodern performance artist.”
Me:
the birthstone ag collection! :D
If you’re learning Japanese and have a mailing address in the USA or Canada you can request a free online library card from the Japan Foundation and access their catalog via Libby. For the USA this process is completely online, unsure for Canada
They don’t have a large selection of books in Japanese at the moment, their fiction section is largely translated materials, but they do have a lot of Japanese textbooks and JLPT study books available.
friendly reminder you are what you consume!
If you’re constantly consuming negative videos, posts, ideas, then you’ll feel depressed and have a negative mindset! Media can and does affect mentality!
This doll reminds of Cedar Wood from Eah
Why are college buildings so cold??? I’m sitting in English and apparently there’s a tornado in the room because it’s so windy
Writing Tips
Punctuating Dialogue
✧
➸ “This is a sentence.”
➸ “This is a sentence with a dialogue tag at the end,” she said.
➸ “This,” he said, “is a sentence split by a dialogue tag.”
➸ “This is a sentence,” she said. “This is a new sentence. New sentences are capitalized.”
➸ “This is a sentence followed by an action.” He stood. “They are separate sentences because he did not speak by standing.”
➸ She said, “Use a comma to introduce dialogue. The quote is capitalized when the dialogue tag is at the beginning.”
➸ “Use a comma when a dialogue tag follows a quote,” he said.
“Unless there is a question mark?” she asked.
“Or an exclamation point!” he answered. “The dialogue tag still remains uncapitalized because it’s not truly the end of the sentence.”
➸ “Periods and commas should be inside closing quotations.”
➸ “Hey!” she shouted, “Sometimes exclamation points are inside quotations.”
However, if it’s not dialogue exclamation points can also be “outside”!
➸ “Does this apply to question marks too?” he asked.
If it’s not dialogue, can question marks be “outside”? (Yes, they can.)
➸ “This applies to dashes too. Inside quotations dashes typically express—“
“Interruption” — but there are situations dashes may be outside.
➸ “You’ll notice that exclamation marks, question marks, and dashes do not have a comma after them. Ellipses don’t have a comma after them either…” she said.
➸ “My teacher said, ‘Use single quotation marks when quoting within dialogue.’”
➸ “Use paragraph breaks to indicate a new speaker,” he said.
“The readers will know it’s someone else speaking.”
➸ “If it’s the same speaker but different paragraph, keep the closing quotation off.
“This shows it’s the same character continuing to speak.”
Born to read my own story, forced to write it first.
19 she/her ♉️Hi! I like dolls, art, and I occasionally write sometimes. Please don’t be mean, but constructive criticism is always appreciated
