Day 11/20, 1st October, 2023 – Sunday
Today wasn't as productive as it should have been, since I've been super tired recently (primarily due to me having begun going to physical tuitions again in the evening instead of taking them online), but I finished projectile motion!! I have a pretty clear understanding of how it works, but I need to be wary of how they may frame questions for my test, so I still need to practice them some more.
Rant
I want to play a game with you all.
You have to make a new word by changing only one letter of the last word.

Day 9/14, 8th September, 2023 – Friday
Today wasn't as productive as I wanted it to be. I had a test in my tuition class, so I studied my botany chapter for that because that was the only subject I really had the time/motivation to do. I don't really know how it went, but my physics class before the test had gone well! I finally understood some of the motion problems the teacher was teaching, and I think I got one of those kinds right on the test (which is improvement, baby steps, ok?). Either way, even though it wasn't the most productive day, I still think it went well.
ooh- I see- it's alright!!!! I believe in you oml!
well, for our RPF we had to pick three subjects and I chose Bio, Chem, and English- so I picked ocean acidification for bio, the detection of pesticides in water using sensors, and I chose the satirization of the educational system in Calvin and Hobbes :D
wby- what did you pick??
GUYS I FINISHED MY EE RPF!!!!!!
y’all i had this cute idea for making shitty abstract pride flags and i love them
when exactly is uptown funk gon give it to me?
AMAZING I'M SO PROUD OF YOU HOLY SHIT, CONGRATULATIONS-
it just hit me that for YEARS my whole (and only) major goal was to have a book published before i turned 25. that was all baby-alex in 2018 was gunning for when we started taking writing seriously.
in the time since, my publishing journey has been HARD. i mean, it has sucked some major balls. i'm talking 'getting surprise divorced the week you're supposed to start your contracted structural edits' hard.
like, 'nobody tells you anything and if other people miss deadlines, it's your problem now and you're BEING a problem just by asking why' hard. like, 'oh, you mean you're struggling with the weight of writing/editing 6 hours a day and working enough to support yourself while dealing with a chronic illness? have you tried giving up SLEEPING?' (i wish i was joking that's a verbatim quote) hard.
but now, at the end of all that bullshit, my book comes out on february 6th.
i turn 25 on march 4th.
i did it.
