Thoughts on Episode 1 for TWEWY
- the art style is really good
- hearing “Calling” after all these years makes me wanna AHHHHH it’s so good
- the pacing for the show is kinda all over the place, for the first episode, we really jumped to day 3 already
- We missed out on the Hachiko dog statue plot, and how the scanning thing is important, like how focusing on certain thoughts really helped . I know minor characters can’t be Dwelled on too long but still, interacting with others in the games was important and showing the weird connection between the underground and the real ground was crucial
- we also missed out on the characters urgency with almost missing their timer, kinda bummed but the fight was still cool (referring to day 3)
With all my complaining I think the first episode is about average, the changes in the plot make me feel some type of way but i’m hoping the plot will get a bit slower and paced better by next episode! See you guys then!
Ever have someone say something so sweet you can feel your heart swell with love for them? That it just sticks with you and makes you so grateful they love you, you can’t help but love them all the more?
Tl;dr my partner said something so sweet and just so telling about their character that I’m literally crying from joy thinking about them.
It used to be a calm, open ocean, the beaches were clean, the sunset , bright and vast across the sky before dwindling into a chasm-like darkness. It wasn’t ever a cold darkness, just comforting, and like a canvas which sprinkled bright stars across the sky.
Now that ocean has become ravenous, the beach floor covered with glass, plastic and oils, the once sandy floors barely visible. Once you try to dip your feet, you’re only swept away by the harsh torrent, you, an air breather only trying to swim atop the relentless waves, but only getting swept up again in a sea of agony.
Your lungs fill to the brim, and your arms try to wane against the water in a desperate attempt to float again. Another wave hits and you’re sent tumbling, your back wounded and bleeding from the debris on the floor and you only feel the void take you.
You call for help, but the guard at the podium looks away, ignoring your plight as they have other waters they need to wade. Your eyes are red from salt and the despair that no one wants to, no one will save you unless you learn how to swim.
Hopefully this’ll land me a job 🤞🏻
Howdy! My name is flowey! Flowey the flower!
I see you staring from the street Our eyes at a brief meet It's not like we could speak For words utterance makes us weak It's been awkward since then You trying hard to become a man You're praying hard not to falter Wish I could scream it from an alter I've tried to move passed this Every person since being a miss I can't help but wonder If you've had as many blunders We've changed, but not enough Feel like without you, I've gotten tough Out exteriors so soft and sweet But the chill in my chest gives me cold feet Talking again would be really nice But a person like you doesn't take that vice Instead we'll stand here across the street Running from each other without a second beat
I’m on like episode 9 of the case study of Vanitas, why is it that everyone in this show.. is gross somehow(?) The world building is definitely interesting as well as the premise but man everyone is low key crazy or blood thirsty (like thirsty Thursday kinda thirsty). Still watching tho, anyone else feel this way?
I finished CENTAURWORLD completely, I loved every bit of it. If you can’t deal with musicals, jokes on you, the songs give plot. I love that the story threads got tied up and the show wasn’t dragged out long, but goodness they need to take the “child music” title out cuz they did not hold back with the violence with some parts. I have so many thoughts and feelings right now but I’m gonna rewatch it.
Here for vibes, usually post hobby stuff(She/her), 26, Poly,Pan and tired.
