If I say "Israelis are human beings" and you hear "I think Palestinians are subhuman and should die," that's a problem you should work on.
Shabbat shalom
remember when we say, "may their memories be a blessing," which we've had to recite an agonizing number of times in these months, it is not passive. this is a part of making those blessed memories reality and keeping their spirits alive with us.
i’m at a party right now and i heard someone on a walkie talkie and i turned around and it’s a mom who left her kids home on their own for the first time ever (they’re old enough) and they live a few houses down so she gave them a walkie talkie to call her if they get nervous. they just walkietalkied her for permission to eat ice cream
“OP’s been real quiet since…” It was Shabbat. If you’re going to pretend you’re anti-Zionist not antisemitic, at least let Jews observe their holidays in peace
my boss comes up to me and goes “do you want a passover candle holder” and i was like “do you mean shabbat candle sticks?” he said “no for passover. here” and he pulls a menorah
They need to invent a job where I don't have to wake up or go to it
the L and K should not be so close on the keyboard the amount of times I've accidentally typed a very antisemitic slur while trying to type "like" is absurd. the only thing saving me from this is autocorrect and that feels like a flimsy barrier at best
