12:10 P.M he is so hard not to admire. that's why everyone on campus is practically in love with him. lee felix, 22, australian, freckles galore, and a fucking angel. he makes brownies for his dorm, offers his notes to practically anyone who needs them, and punched the shit out of one dude that was know for harassing freshman girls (got him expelled too). he's astonishing.

and you, his lover, tell him so...every chance you get.

"amazing, lix." he whips around from where he is in kitchen with a confused look. "they're just cookies?" he raises an eyebrow at you. you smile back at him with a dazed look, "oh, i know. i was talking about you." he immediately grins before waving you off. "oh, stop. you're so sappy," he giggles to himself before turning back to his bowl of cookie batter, mixing it more vigorously. you grin as you watch for a minute or two as his ears turn red before pushing off the wall and waltzing over to him. you stand behind him and pull him into a back hug, ignoring his squeak, "i mean it, angel. believe me." you hear him snort as you rest your forehead on the middle of his back, "you got that name from hyunjin." you scoff at him. "no, hyunjin got that name from me. little thief," you huff in displeasure. he giggles at your antics, "does it matter?" "yes." "so possessive." he laughs as he sets the bowl down and turns to face you. you wrap your arms around his waist as he rubs them, looking down at you. you hum at him as you stare at his freckles, making your way up to his eyes. "lee felix," you murmur as he hums at you, listening in. "lee felix: aphrodite's blessing, angel in disguise, and my cute baker boy, i am in love with you." he gasps at your sudden confession and is caught off guard as you kiss him sweetly. pulling back, he's bright red and giggly and not looking at you so just pull him in closer to rest your forehead against his. "that means i have every right to be possessive." you grin as he bursts out in laughter.

Warning: Body insecurities, just gave birth, reader get really upset and doesn't feel totally better at the end (I don't know if that really a warning, mentions of nursing/breastfeeding a baby (tell me if I missed something)

She doesn't really feel that much better at the end because I think it's unrealistic for the reader to suddenly feel better after something someone else says. Sometimes your just upset and you need to be upset to make your self feel better in the future if that makes sense. Also don't mind what changbin says I'm bad at comforting people so I tried my best. I think it lacking a little something but I'll try and make it better as time goes on and I get more into writing.

You were sitting on your couch holding you 2 day old baby girl. You had just come home from the hospital a couple of hours ago.

Birth is a very painful, stressful, and interesting to say the least. Your body had changed so much during your pregnancy but it slowly changed over 9 months. Giving you some time to get used to it as your body got bigger.

Birth is nothing like that though. Even if your a little chubby everyone thinks your super cute when your pregnant. Whenever people look at a pregnant person you don't think "hmm I wonder how much weight she's gained" you usually think "aww she looks so good for being 9 months pregnant, her body's creating a life".

After birth everyone losses that mentality but your body doesn't change for at least a couple of weeks. Not to even mention all the different hormones and emotions going through your body during this time.

You think of how amazing your baby girl is and how you would go through labor a thousand time again to have her. Then you look in the mirror and see every part of your self that you liked before you got pregnant has changed.

After having your baby girl your anxiety and depression worsened. It was hard for you to think of one thing that liked about your self. Your self confidence before getting pregnant wasn't super strong or anything but you've never felt like this.

Your mama bear instincts came out. You got so anxious when ever someone else was holding your baby besides your husband Changbin of course. You loved seeing him with her. It almost felt like your only purpose in life was to take care of this baby. You know Changbin would never leave you but it scared you what he thought of you know that you thought your body was "ruined".

Looking at your wonderful baby girl as she's fast asleep in your arms your husband comes and sits next to you. He sits facing you with and arm next to your shoulders. He starts admiring you baby girl too.

Then he looks up at you. You get a little freaked out from how long he was looking at you. You were trying to figure out what would make him do that. Your scared to fully look at him. Scared he'll see how puffy your face is and your dark under eye circles.

"Your so beautiful" he says. You can really hear the emotion in his voice. It almost sounds like he could cry

"I know isn't she perfect"

"I was talking about you" even though you were scared you turned you face to see him. The love in his eyes and the smile that shows up on his face when he sees your full face

"I'm never gonna look the same though. What if my stomach always stays this big. What if....." you start tearing up and you stop talking before you fully start crying.

"Y/n I know you've changed a lot before you got pregnant vs now. But the way I see you will always be the same. I didn't fall in love with you because of your body. No physical changes would ever make me stop loving you. And I know your hormones is making things harder emotionally but I want you to know that I will always be there. And if you ever need a reminder of how gorgeous you are just tell me and I could go on and on. You think our daughter is beautiful and when I look at her I just see a mini you."

You had a lot of tears streaming down your face at this point. Everything was just so overwhelming you couldn't talk. All the emotions of how you felt about your self being contradicted by Changbins words made your head feel like it was gonna explode. But you were trying hard to not let out a sob because you didn't want to wake your daughter.

Almost as Changbin read your thoughts he picks up your baby and puts her in the baby swing. He comes back and scoots you over so your on his lap. "I know it gonna take more than just once for you to believe me but I'll say it as many times as you need." He said as he puts his head and hand on top of yours. You let out the sobs that you were holding in. You hid your face in the crook of his neck as he rocked you. It made you feel like the baby but it really did make you feel better.

After taking some deep breaths to calm down you pull away to look at your perfect husband. He wipes you tears and tells you some more how much he loves you.

He tells you to lay down and take a nap to help you calm down. And being tired wasn't helping with how stressed out you were. It scared you to leave taking care of the baby all to him but he assured you. Anytime you needed a nap during the day that he would take care of her. You have been up all night nursing her. He tries to do as much as he can during the night but when your the only one who can feed her there's not much he can do. So he wants to make it up to you.

He tucks you in on the couch. And as you almost fall asleep immediately you hear him say.

"I love you and good night beautiful"

"Hi."

Y/N looks up in mild surprise; her fellow classmate's cheerful smile looks down at her, and if she's not mistaken, his cheeks seem flushed.

Must be the cold.

"Hi," she replies simply. She's not sure what else to say - she doesn't think she's ever spoken to him properly. He always seems so busy with his crowd of friends … and honestly, she finds them all a little intimidating.

Of course, that hasn't stopped her from falling head over heels for him.

"What are you doing?" Chan asks before crouching down beside her. His shoulder brushes her arm and she jumps, almost losing balance from her crouch.

"Taking pictures of the snowdrops," she says, pointing to a little cluster of mint green hidden beneath a thin layer of sparkling frost.

Chan leans closer, his gaze following her direction. His eyes soften when he sees the new blooms. "Did you know the Greek name for Snowdrops is Galanthus? It means milk flower."

Y/N looks at him in surprise. "You know Greek?"

"A little bit," Chan chuckles softly. "Did I impress you?"

Y/N nods. "You did."

"Good," Chan says. "That's what I'm trying to do."

Caught off guard, Y/N fully loses balance and lands backwards on her backside. The concrete is cold below her and she shivers, immediately scrambling to her knees.

"Are you okay?" Chan smiles; he reaches out and gently helps her back into her previous position, his hand warm at the small of her back. "Be careful … the ground is like ice at the moment."

He looks around, and spotting a rogue snowdrop away from the other flowers, Chan points towards it. "That flower is lonely."

"Poor thing," Y/N laughs softly. She doesn't expect him to do anything about it, so when he reaches out and gently plucks it from the frozen grass, she blinks at him in surprise.

The tips of his fingers grow red with cold as he carefully brushes the frost off of the petals, and after making sure there's no creepy crawlies hiding in the middle of it, Chan leans towards Y/N. He nestles the stem through her hair, tucking the flower into the small gap between her bobble hat and her ear.

Y/N is so surprised that she stares at him as her mouth slowly drops open. Her cold nose flushes further as Chan sits back again, observing his work with a satisfied smile.

"Now it has company," he says, rubbing the nape of his neck. "The flower met another flower."

Suddenly realising what he said, Chan's eyes widen and he covers his face with his hands. He screams through his fingers before hurriedly getting up to his feet, embarrassment flooding through his body.

"That was so cheesy," he says, rubbing his face. "I'm so sorry."

Then he runs away, muttering under his breath about going too far.

Staring after him in bewilderment, Y/N inhales slowly. She has no idea what just happened in the past five minutes, and thinking she was hallucinating, she reaches her hand to touch her hair.

The flower is still there and she exhales shakily. The boy has left behind a small mud stain on the concrete beside her from his trainers, and a faint cloud of sweet, boyish cologne. She shuts her eyes, wishing she could capture this moment in a single picture.

But after taking a shy selfie documenting the snowdrop in her hair, she realises there's no way she'll be able to truly capture this memory. The picture doesn't portray the cold temperature, nor does it show how fast her heart is beating under her padded coat. It also doesn't hold the scent of Chan's cologne that now seems to linger amongst the flower and her coat from where his hand rested against her back.

She swallows and slips her phone away into her pocket. She had begun to think this field trip was a complete waste of time; tracking up the biggest hill in their city only to come to a mud encased field seemed more underwhelming than she had thought.

But now she wonders if perhaps the stumbling boy with his flower has completely redeemed the trip for her.

Brushing her coat down, Y/N stands up and sets down the path again. She soon finds Chan pacing around like an old man near an equally old looking tree. He rubs his red hands for warmth, and Y/N only just realises he's not wearing a jacket; in fact, he's not even wearing a jumper, just a very thin looking t-shirt.

"Aren't you cold?" Y/N asks him.

Chan jumps as she approaches. His eyes melt when he notices she hasn't removed the flower, and his heart grows warm as he offers her what he hopes is a casual grin.

"Of course not," he says cheerfully. His words cause white clouds to emit from his mouth, which he bats away with a hand. "I'm okay."

Raising an eyebrow, Y/N reaches out and touches his hand with her fingers; his eyes widen at the contact, just as hers widen at how icy his skin feels.

Without hesitation, Y/N unzips her huge coat. She then pulls it off of her and walks towards a baffled looking Chan, before draping it around his shoulders.

"Here," she says, motioning for him to slip his arms in the sleeves. "I always buy oversized clothes so this should fit you."

"Hey, wait, no," Chan shrugs it off and tries to put it back on the girl, but she retaliates by quickly wrapping it back around him, mischievously zipping it all the way up with his arms stuck inside.

"You look like a burrito," Y/N giggles as Chan's eyes fall shut, a smile spreading across his face. "You can't get out now."

His hands fluttering out beneath the padding, Chan sighs. "But now you're cold."

Y/N shakes her head. She points to her huge hoodie. "I have three layers under this. I'm fine. You, on the other hand … why didn't you bring a jacket?"

Chan waddles closer to her as he smiles sheepishly. "I left it on the bus. And the bus went before I could get it."

Then he looks down. "Can you free my arms please?"

Giggling, Y/N nods. She unzips the coat and holds the sides open so Chan can slip his arms into the sleeves. He shivers with delight, nuzzling his nose down into the coat as Y/N zips it back up for him.

"You're so lucky we have the same bus on the way back," Y/N says. "Otherwise you'd have lost that coat for good."

"I know," Chan chuckles. "Stupid me, right?"

Then he playfully whacks Y/N on the arm with his sleeve. "Shouldn't the guy be the one to give the girl his jacket?"

Y/N smiles at that. "Sure. But one problem … you don't have one."

"I'll make sure I have a jacket next time then," Chan giggles, his cheeks flushing red all over again.

Y/N bites her lip. She resists the urge to throw herself at him and hug the life out of him.

"Hey Y/N?" Chan asks suddenly.

"Hmm?"

The boy looks down at his shoes. "Do you … um … maybe want to go on a date? Some time?"

Y/N stares. Whatever she was expecting him to say, it wasn't that.

All her words fly away at that moment, and she continues to stare at him blankly.

"It's okay if you don't want to … " Chan says, growing quiet. He laughs nervously. "I know I'm … pretty weird."

"No," Y/N shakes her head adamantly. "I … I'd love to go on a date with you."

Chan's eyebrows shoot up into his hair. "Really?"

"Yes, really," Y/N suddenly grins, and she covers her face with her hands. "I've had a crush on you for ages."

Chan's eyebrows seem to completely disappear as he stares at the girl in shock. "Are you joking?"

"No," Y/N says.

Chan suddenly groans. "Why didn't you ever say anything? I didn't think you liked me … you never speak to me."

"Because your friends scare me," Y/N whines. "And I didn't think you'd want me to talk to you … you're so popular. And I'm not."

Exhaling slowly, Chan steps closer to her. He shakes his head slightly before reaching out and closing his now warm fingers around hers. He laces his fingers through hers, holding her hand securely in his soft grip.

"You're so silly," Chan whispers, a goofy smile spreading across his face as he squeezes her hand. "I've liked you for ages. And my friends are the ones who always tell me to come talk to you … but I get shy."

Y/N looks down at their entwined hands. She can't help the huge smile spreading across her face. Her eyes sparkle and crinkle as she looks up at him.

"Looks like we're both silly then," she says.

Chan chuckles and nods. "Make sure you don't wear a jacket the next time I see you, okay?"

"Why?"

"So I can give you mine," Chan laughs, his thumb gently caressing the back of her hand. "I'm so embarrassed right now you have no idea."

Y/N doesn't know what else to say; instead she leans closer to him, and softly kisses his cheek.

she lets them tutor her or pour her coffee. it’s a strange feeling, being able to depend on others.

hikaru is horrible with his words. he’d rather squeeze, punch, kiss, or shove someone instead of opening his mouth.

that’s why kaoru or haruhi are always at arm’s length. he needs someone to squish when he gets excited or chase when he gets bored.
