Más Chloe! Estos son dibujitos un toque más viejos, pero los tengo como referencia para tratar aún de sacar un buen diseño para ella.
God, I love this post.
As a fan of crack and rare ships, I've seen a huge amount of disapproval of them. I was recently looking for Akaren (Rengoku x Akaza) and Uzugyu (Uzui x Gyutaro) because I was thinking of writing a short fic, but none of the few things I found had people calling it a proship, saying there was no chemistry (yes, they said that, as if the brief conversations hadn't given much to cook up), or that it was just plain stupid to ship them. The same applies to the Miraculous, Alien Stage, etc. fandom, and that's only talking about non-canon ships (it'll probably be a witch hunt if they find the character from one work x character from another work ships, haha).
On the other hand, I have to admit that Chloenath is one of my favorites, and seeing someone remember him after Marc's appearance is so great (I firmly believe that Marc's appearance was the death of Nathaniel's individuality as a character, or rather, his only purpose for existing is the ship, and I truly hate that. He's not a "person" anymore, he's an accessory). I really liked that enemies-to-lovers dynamic, which presented just enough complexity to be fun, the importance of development, and didn't become a mess (like canon some canon ships).
The Chloenath era was the best! I hope them comes back sometime ( ;∀;)
I'm asking in genuine curiosity; is Twitter just behind the curve or is there a real rise in anti-crackship sentiment? I mean I've talked to people who just prefer to ship whatever's canon so long as it's not an actual crime, but... it just feels so boring.
Actually, please repost this with your favorite ship regardless of canonical merit and explain why you enjoy it---I'm curious and crave dopamine.
Only fair to trade, mine at the moment is Artistic Musing.
3 días haciendo un trabajo y descomponiendome por los nervios para que lo pasen de día porque si :)
Por lo menos hice unas máscaras re facheras.
Well, it's true, Nath has had a bit more screen time since the second season, and Marc needs his time too. But I think, you know, if time were used efficiently, like fillers chapters, there wouldn't have been a need to decide who's in the shadows. (But, oh, what a shame, Marinette's random issues are more important than developing the world and its characters. Too bad.)
(And god, now that you mention it, Nathaniel got the healthy, male version of Marinette, lol)
While Nathanaël did go from being considered essentially a main character by most of the fandom to Background Character #20, I'd say Marc is the one whose only purpose for existing is the ship. He didn't have a reason to be introduced outside of being Nath's boyfriend, because like. If we really needed a writer who shared Nath's passion for comic books, Alya was right there.
Hi! It feels weird to see a message in my inbox that isn't spam, haha!
I once read an interview with the person who inspired Marc's character (Hope Morphin, a friend of TA's), where they said that when they started creating Marc, he asked them who their favorite character was, to which they replied it was Nathaniel (by the way, Hope mentioned that TA complained a bit because people liked secondary characters, lol).
With the question, it was already clear that Marc's introduction would be through another character, maybe even a partner or romantic interest, regardless of whoever Hope's favorite was. So yes, Marc exists to be someone's partner, although I don't know if it's just me, but even before Ruler, I think he had more shine as an individual. He likes to write, but he doesn't limit himself to art (Like Nath). He also likes football. He's also had a change in attitude (from extremely shy in Reverser to more confident in Penal Team). Yeah, these are just a few clues about the character, and to be honest, I haven't watched the show in a while, but I only remember him appearing in a duo with Nathaniel, with Marc standing out more (I suppose because of the differences in their designs and personalities), and if I remember correctly, he had more lines.
In the end, they were just there as a secundary couple to set the scene, "plot tools." But now I think that changed a bit with Ruler. Besides, they might have a real influence on the main plot. It's also worth noting that I'm a Cloenath stan, so I prefer to watch them individually, which is why it bothered me a little that their existences were limited to their relationship and art. You know how much I needed a reaction from Nathaniel about not being able to see Alix, his best friend, again?
(By the way, this was translated with Google, and I haven't seen Season 6 yet, so this might be a little weird or misinformed.)
I finally finished the Paimon drawing
Im not that happy with it
Damn, I ended up in a new fandom, but I don't regret it haha
Not only is he being a jerk because it's about Chloe, remember how he said the Felix-Bridgette PV dynamic was unworkable. this guy can't handle proper relationship development (jeez, his main canon ship feels so toxic, Kagami x Felix is also pretty weird, Mark x Nath should never have worked this fast, do I continue?). he'll probably die with an enemies to lovers or dark romance.
Qu'en penses-tu ?
What do you think?

Dalia: The name of a flower, representing elegance and dignity. Maybe it's because it's floral, but I feel like it fits Ume a bit.
Denise: Of French origin, it is a variant of Denis. The name Denis is thus associated with one who is a devoted follower or devotee of Dionysos. This name is not common, I heard it only once, but it is quite pretty.
Denia: Diminutive of Gardenia, the name of the flower. I've never heard of it, but it's also pretty and flowery. Gardenias are generally associated with feelings of love, innocence, and admiration.
