Rant about Chloe's development

There are many who talk about the opportunities that Marinette and the class gave Chloe, and how they really shouldn't have even been given them since she bullied them, that she is a bad person, that she caused serious troubles and blah, blah, blah..

But what I want to get at is something else, and that is; Are they really important if you want to make a arc for Chloe? (whether for better or worse). I mean, it's not like the decision to "give her a chance or not" totally influences his life as it is, as if school and class are everything.
