THE FIDDLE FORD THING CRYING
my english project... was something. tumblr users do we think Beside the Waterfall by Mary Oliver is a social commentary on the patriarchy, deep-rooted human nature, and forgiveness of abusers... or a simple work of fiction??

MY HEATHERS×GRAVITY FALLS DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE
Let me get y'all on something: Mabel and Dipper, when they get to highschool in California, turn into theater kids. Freshman year, Mabel auditions for a role in their school's fall show, but is too nervous to do it alone. As her "caring, kindest, best brother in the world" as Mabel put it, Dipper agrees to join stage crew so he can support her without being in the spotlight. They watch plenty of slime tutorials of musicals and plays to spend time together.
On a stormy summer night where they have to stay inside back at their true home, Gravity Falls, they choose to watch Heathers. Mabel is fantasizing about how cute JD is and how she wishes someone was obsessed with her like that.
Dipper reminds her, "JD is a homicidal, manipulative loner with a god-complex who took advantage of a smart girl's skills." They watch together as JD shoots Ram on Mabel's laptop screen.
"Doesn't that sound a lot like Bill and Grunkle Ford?"
Dipper chews on his popcorn.
"Dip-"
"I think you should stop talking."
---
Bonus: The next day, Dipper is distracted as he helps Ford clean up the lab, still thinking about Mabel's disgustingly accurate comparison.
"What's on your mind, kid?"
"You don't want to know."
