Gale has to deal with a girl “choosing” him while pining for some other guy’s arms and hoping to never kiss him again. Peeta has to deal with pages of a girl saying he’s all that’s good in the world, that she lusts after his eyelashes and arms, and in a different world a teenage pregnancy may have happened between them— all while refusing to give what they have a name.
