Snippet:

Ororo comes over and gently explains to Logan that Hank is ready for them in the lab.

He whines pathetically as soon as he and Wade cross the threshold and Hank greets them. Hank holds his arms out to take Wade from him, and it’s only because it’s Hank that Logan lets him. He blinks at Hank imploringly, silently begging him to fix things.

“Come on, Peanut, let doc McStuffins here do his thing. I’ll be alright. You can stay close by.”

my problem is that thunderbolts* feels like a slap in the face to brave new world, okay? like, the mental health representation and found family dynamics are gold, but going against everything sam AND steve stood for (and risked their lives for, especially for bucky) feels so anti-bnw -- maybe even anti-captain america?
