Ahhh yessss the canonically impossible interaction between the resistance and Chell, I love that
(Also I noticed that I forgot the black mesa logo on Alyx' shirt only after posting this, so let's just pretend it's there- )

that some people respond to any well-foreshadowed reveal with “ugh that plot twist was so predictable” proves bad faith criticism has rotted their brains to the point they think it’s bad writing if they can correctly identify information the writers were intentionally giving them

til that the "Cara Mia Addio" in Portal 2 (better known as the "Turret Opera"), when translated, is a full on love song in which Glados refers to Chell as "beautiful" and "dear" throughout, with Ellen Mclain saying in an interview afterwards that the song is meant to essentially be taken as "I'm going to miss you, goodbye, my beloved"
I like to think then that Cara Mia Addio was a song created by Glados in a foreign language that Chell wouldn't understand so that way she could tell her how much she meant/means to her without being too direct because she's scared of attachment
In conclusion, happy pride month to whatever the fuck they had going on
The Government Man stands atop the quayside. Even from a distance, Freeman can feel the impatience it exudes. Surely it must want to meet if it's allowed itself to be so easily accessible to Freeman. That will be the last mistake it'll ever make now that Freeman is free from its realm, where they'd last met face-to-face. Freeman climbs up as fast as his limbs allow, flings himself around the doorway and finds nothing. Nothing but more questions and a few corpses to neutralize.
bad science
